Andriasang: Namco Bandai is readying a PlayStation 3 conversion of the popular Saint Seiya manga and anime. Revealed in a two page spread in this month's issue of V Jump, the PS3 game is titled "Saint Seiya Senki" (which could perhaps be translated as Saint Seiya Chronicle).
"Similar to the US, Japan also gets “movie” games. These are more commonly known as anime/manga based titles. Unlike the US though, these titles aren’t always awful. Saint Seiya Sanctuary Battle tries to bring time tested gameplay into the world of Saint Seiya (Knights of the Zodiac in the US). Most were skeptical of how the game looked good, but anime games have a long history of deep flaws. Many of these relate to how they represent the series. " - JPS
Andriasang: Namco Bandai won't be waiting too long to release paid download content for Saint Seiya Senki. Following the PS3 title's release on the 23rd, paid DLC will kick off on the 30th with the Shinsei Bronze Cross Set.
