Neocrisis: Here we go again... Some days before E3 started, I heard some people claiming this was gonna be the best E3 of all time. Why? Simply because they thought it was gonna be, no explanations were made, they just said it, and people swallowed it. The problem with this, is that not only E3 has been, well not mediocre, but it hasn't been up to the expectations of the thousands of gamers out there, (even if some of you blindly believe it did).
Huzaifa from eXputer: "2008 was home to the likes of Call of Duty: World at War, Dead Space, GTA 4, Far Cry 2, Left 4 Dead, and many other hits, which is outright remarkable."
While the mainstream media always sees things turning in favor of the hero, here are 6 games that own being a bad guy.
Pretty much all of these games listed are based around a morality system you don't have to be bad and you don't have to be good.
It seems to have left out some real amazing games like red dead redemption 1/2,ass effect and true crime la/ny
Armored Core VI?
Ok, I'm really missing something here. Just beat chapter 3 earlier this evening, unlocked A-rank Arena fights. I'm not seeing or sensing any branching paths or morality system and I've done every side mission and arena fight available to me up to that fight.
Is something big coming soon to branch the story?
No mention of Grand Theft Auto? Saints Row (original trilogy), Manhunt? Also The Suffering (depending on the ending you get).
Video games are no longer just a simple past time. Today's games are evolving into true works of art. Offering intriguing narratives, cinematic setpieces, and profound messages, games can entertain us for hundreds of hours.
I never got around to mass effect - I’m skeptical that it would hold up if I were to try it now
Probably not. Some failed harder than others, but I wouldn't bother with discerning a clear winner.
1. Battlefield 3 = it's simply the biggest baddest and best looking game E3 has ever seen or anybody else for that matter. Kingdoms of Armular, Mass Effect 3, Uncharted 3, Gears3, Skyrim and others all looked great but are several notches below BF3
Tie
2. PSVita is super duper hot. it has the potential to over come Nintendo's dominance on the Hand held market or at least get 50% market share. The simple fact that a model comes with 3G means the PSVita can be the perfect all in one device. Music, Games, Video, Internet and Now Cell Phone! I'm sure a hack or App will becoming SOON to allow the PSVita to act as a Phone.
2. Wii-U Nintendo knows their role and they have pumped up the volume and entered the HD era but have brought the most innovative device to the industry. The hand held controller with screen will open up a MEGA TON of new gaming options. In 3 years Sony and Microsoft will be copying Nintendo AGAIN!
3. Playstation 3 and PC. with PS3 getting the Dust 514 Exclusive along with having cross-platform support in Portal 2 I think this is the start of a great experiment in getting PC gamers together with consolers. With todays consoles being basically low end PC's i feel Sony is doing the right thing buy bridging the gap.
Looser...
Exclusives.
this E3 saw the lowest amount of exclusives ever. 95% of the titles had multiple platforms listed and with the Wii-u coming out most games will be made for 4 platforms maybe 5 if you add PSVita.
No, but I was most impressed by Sony's event. Which is shocking because I thought Nintendo would impress me the most with a new console, but they didn't show enough.
Sony's conference was the most impressive, IMO.
Sony conference was the best, it wasn't something mind-blowing, but compared to the others, was consistently good...
