i hope so i was looking foward to playing this on the 3ds. but i have to say its not looking that great graphics wise.and it looks nothing near what they showed last year. and the media is saying the same .

Yes, my thoughts exactly. When they showed it last year, I was amazing at the screens they released. Apparently they were all 'bullshots' I think thats what people call them. It won't make the game any less amazing though, thats for damn sure.

Now if the collection is transfarring compatible with the NGP, the NGP will get a Xbox version of the game. Now, the year he took to work on the 3DS title is now meaningless. His tweets are now starting to make sense. The game is good and should be played but I would rather play the NGP version with dual analog sticks etc with Peace walker and MGS2 for that matter. MGS1 is not included because I sense a complete remake of the first game for the Anniversary of MGS next year. Tokyo game show reveal possiblly. If you have a 3DS though the game will be optomized for the platform and even though I have all the games in a previous PS2 collection this is the only one I haven't beat. Sniper Boss is just kicking my ass. LOL! I can't wait to revisit these games in HD. MGS2 is not as bad as everyone makes it out to be it is actually a phenomenal game. MGS4 is the videogame blockbuster business model to follow like UC games.

Yeah i loved the Boss battle against "The End", on my first play through it took me almost an hour to defeat him.

It had no free camera, it was all locked, it was only changed in the Subsistence version.

it's a port of Ps2 game, what did you expect? btw + 3D, which takes some resources too.. if it was built from a ground up then I think we would see something nicer ....btw I don't trust screens, when I'll see it in my own 3DS then I'll have my own opinion about MGS 3D graphics, because there were many times when graphics look worse in screens and trailers than was in actual game (especially with DS games)..

I have a 3DS, and graphics are pretty close to psp/ps2..nothing exceptional, since nintendo always has 3 to 5 years to equal sony quality.

LOL, exactly what i was saying...5 years and more.(it would be a suicide to not deliver a more powerfull console than 360 and ps3, since wii sales are declining since 2 years, and ps3 has a way better library and better motion controler....but X720 and ps4 will just destroy cafe's graphics)

I'm sure it'll look about the same on the small screen. But really this is just not a good sign for 3DS. Not much point in a system when the best games are old ports. Probably will get one when the Lite version inevitably comes out, but NGP or Vita (god i hate that name) is looking a hell of a lot better in every regard.

I'm not too concerned with the graphics as long as the game is still fun on the 3ds. I'm just desperate for a good game on the 3DS, as of right now mine has been collecting dust and just seems like a waste of money.

3DS is another kid's toy and it is already tanking. Nobody wants the thing. BIG N knows full well gamers are not going to be fooled again and again. They better make that next system capable of 1080p that's all I know. They are going to give up a great slice of their base to the NGP and everybody knows it. That thing has hot sauce written all over it IF they can launch for 299.

Its not "trolling", its telling the truth because a lot of people are pissed at Nintendos constant failure to keep up. The 3DS didnt even have a friends list or an online shop. The 3DS is - IMO - one of the worst consoles ever, but you people will defend it to the death because "ooooh but i had Nintendo when i was a wee lad and oooohhh it has mario mario mario zelda and mario". They need a kick up the arse to get them into gear and make a system that can compete next gen

barking up the wrong tree. I Grew up SEGA and stayed with them until they died with Dreamcast. I like Nintendo because they are the closest thing to SEGA out right now.

3DS launched with a friendlist. You only enter an FC once, then you can see when your friends where last on, their fave game, a status, and if they are on, what game they are currently playing.

Get into gear to make a console that competes? righ? you mean just like how 360 tossed out Kinect just to Compete with Wii? or do you mean how PS3 tossed out Move to have wii like controls for shooters?

being a fan does not mean you have to have a bias. I admit I am now somewhat of a Nintendo fan, but last gen I made no excuses for Gamecube. I could have argued better graphics till I was blue in the face, but in all honesty, I didn't know or care.

So again I ask. What new hating mechanic will the fanboys think up if Cafe has the best graphics Next Gen and a pretty good online system?

Hahah! You are joking, right? The 3ds is nowhere near "tanking". Granted, it didn't sell quite as well as Nintendo hoped it would, but ,again, by no means tanking. As for gamers being fooled, gamers were not the consumers that made Nintendo all of their money; that was the "Good Morning America crowd". I also wouldn't be so quick to declare the NGP hot sauce. While the majority of "gamers" would purchase one for $299, I'm not quite sure the average consumer would.

DS was good, at one point, a long time ago.

It was never awesome.

As it stands now, it's pretty dead, and Nintendo have abandoned it just like they have the Wii.

PSP still going happily with some great looking games on the horizon.

Just think, you'll have something to play on your 3DS soon: a port of an N64 game (that I imagine you have already beaten back in the day).

@Knushwood Butt no matter how many new games will come to PSP now, it still won't match in quantity great DS library of games.. btw, there are coming new games for DS + localisations (Professor laytor:and specters flute, dragon quest:joker 2, new Kirby game, Solatorobo, Ni no kuni DS and more).. so how did they abandon DS? :)

btw: I think there are coming new games for PSP because NGP didn't come yes.. what will be later, time will tell..

It could just be that the image quality of the photos from the 3DS version is bad. That's something to consider.

Ps2 is like 480 p and 3ds is like 200 p x 800 so like 200 x 400... I dunno the math. I just know when i play computer games that are meant for 1080p they look horrible at 480 x 620

People are also forgetting this will be in 3d. So of course the game has to have some cutting done to it in order for it to run well in 3d.

I am pretty sure than Kojima Productions can do a better job with bringing the game over to the 3DS. The minute i saw Resident Evil Mercenaries i knew that they could do better with this title. Anyways i will probably pick up the NGP version of it.

No double thumbstick = no buy for me. It isn't 90s anymore. I literally can not find any reason why developers would not want to put 2 thumbsticks on a handheld. Peace Walker was practically unplayable when compared to the console versions. Gods knows how angry I went when battling the huge end boss, trying to move with the stick and look around with the main buttons that should not have been assigned for such a thing in the first place. It just feels like you fight with the controls rather than the enemies.

Not really. I think it's just a difference in graphical shaders and lighting. It seems like their different but their not really... Not to mention the 3ds version is a blown up and converted version of what you see. It's not going to look as good as it does on the 3ds screen. Plus how about a little slack. In 3d mode it will be processing and displaying the graphics capabilities of a ps2 in 2 slightly different angles. Actually pretty impressive.

and it also has to run at a higher frame rate because it 30 fps per eye so in all actuallity its processing at 60 fps, same with street fighter 4 but in 3d it looks like it 30 fps to an eye
