FTG at PAX East 2011: Hands on with Warp

"A simple, unassuming name for a game, no? Warp. That’s it? Nothing fancy, no colons with crazy tag lines. Just Warp. Created by a handful of guys at micro-studio Trapdoor and published by EA Partners, this little title is definitely one to watch."- Shanghai Six

This game was surprisingly strong; I just hope the mechanic doesn't get too stale.

AmigoSniped4780d ago

This game was tons of fun and I can't wait for it

eccothedolphin74780d ago

Too bad it's being published be EA, cuz EA sucks.

Del6734780d ago

I would have to agree, EA is pushing it these days.

EA is so full of crap. Their marketing is lame, aimed at children and idiots, and they publish the weirdest things. I mean, Medal of Honor, really? They had to make that game? And they backed down with the whole taliban thing. Grow a spine. They want to make everyone happy, and they are making no one happy.

Looks interesting, really quite original.

Why Aren’t These PSN Games On The Vita Yet?

DualShockers' Masoud House writes:

"So some people hate the idea of porting games from the PlayStation Network to the Vita. There’s even been some fantastic debates over the idea of sharing or porting games to handhelds being the detriment of handheld growth, and a significant roadblock to establishing its identity as a viable platform. But with Sony’s insistence that the PlayStation brand will be something that can be played anywhere you go, there’s some games I think not only deserve to be ported over to the Vita, but perhaps could even excel better on the handheld than on home consoles."

I often wonder why Shatter hasn't been ported either.

Very tempted to get SSX for $10.

guitarded774102d ago

Well worth $10... not sure it was worth the $60 I paid for it.

Also, is it messed up that I already have everything on that list? I'm getting better at not buying games and waiting for sales because it feels like a kick in the nuts when I see a game I payed full price for at $10.

TrendyGamers4102d ago

A little messed up, it's a lot of games!

Yi-Long4102d ago

... while we in Europe also get these deals, yet SSX is 15 EURO, which means even though it's on sale for us as well, it's still twice as expensive as what the USA gamers have to pay for the same game...

.... which is obviously ridiculous.

guitarded774102d ago

@ Yi-Long

I have been sympathetic to gamers in other countries getting price gouged for a long time. I think it sucks that your prices are higher, especially while your currency value is inflated. Check out US amazon.com and see if they ship to your country. I have friends in South America, Europe and elsewhere that order from there to get lower prices. Some still have to pay import duties, but it is still cheaper for them go the extra mile.

Dam, no sale on the Battlefield 3 map packs

InsaneGam3r4102d ago
