Gamersmint: I have an unusual love for this game. Unusual because, well… it’s a videogame and it has stayed with me for a long, long time. Longer than there has been Facebook.
During this time, I’ve graduated, switched 3 jobs, started writing, stopped writing, started writing again, witnessed multiple eclipses, traveled to places I’d have never imagined, fallen in love twice – which reminds me of this one time someone asked me why such an affection for a video game?
Sequestered in its own cozy corner of the PC gaming world is TTLG.com. This acronym stands for “Through the Looking Glass," an homage to Looking Glass Studios. It’s also likely as not a reference to the second Alice in Wonderland story of the same name because of the wonder that Looking Glass’ games opened its fans towards. Above all of Looking Glass’ masterpieces, their two Thief titles offered the most special wonder.
Thief's cast of monster NPCs makes it unique among stealth games. Sneaking by humans is one thing - sneaking by beasts is quite another.
Thief fan-mission author Gaetane brilliantly captures whimsy and character in her missions' backdrops.
I sure hope the next Thief is coming soon...I really enjoyed the last one.

I thoroughly enjoyed all 3 games in the Thief series (even though most don't care for Deadly Shadows) and cannot wait to see what will come of Thief 4...speaking of which weren't we supposed to get information on it from GDC? I haven't seen anything yet.. :(
