Call of Duty is notorious for releasing early maps from previous games in the series. Many gamers enjoyed when they released the old Modern Warfare 1 maps into Modern Warfare 2. As gamers play the maps, they hate some and thoroughly enjoy others. Questions rise when the rumors about a new map pack start circling around. For Call of Duty Black Ops, First Strike was obviously the first map pack for that release. Most likely, they will be releasing a new map pack soon.
Here is the question… would you enjoy the old maps from World at War to be playable in Black Ops online play?
The video on Black Ops 1 shows some separate rooms, assets, and other features which exist outside of the boundary of the game.
From DownSights: "Black Ops is not Black Ops without Nuketown. Following the tradition of releasing Nuketown for Black Ops games, the new Black Ops Cold War game also offers a revamped Nuketown called Nuketown '84.
Nuketown '84 has the same dimensions and map layout except for the aesthetics. The map's aesthetics have changed to fit the 80s theme, with destroyed buildings and graffiti-filled walls compared to a clean 50s suburban neighborhood seen in Black Ops 1."
Jacob writes: "What do we have with the original Call of Duty: Black Ops? Quite simply, one of the best Call of Duty titles of all time."
Dear Treyarch, go develop a new innovative fu&*& engine with the hundreds of millions you've made instead of destroying the gaming industry with more of your cheap rip-off maps.
"Many people consider that release of Call of Duty(WaW) to be the best one ever."
Umm, who are these "people" and where can I find them? No matter how much I love that game it will never be better than other installments.
W@W was sh*t! COD4 is the best COD game ever. I could care less about Black Ops and it's map packs. I didn't buy the first BO map pack as I stopped playing Crap Ops months ago. I'm done with COD until the devs step up their game and make a quality COD game with a brand new engine, and better graphics.
I'm going to get flamed for this but there were a decent amount of maps from w.a.w. that i thought were fun as hell and wouldn't mind replaying with the updated engine. Waw was the lasg cod game I obsessed over rather than casually enjoyed like the last two.
WaW was good for Zombies only. The multiplayer was poor and redundant. It didn't even get a GOTY. Heck Call of Duty 4 was receiving awards after World at War came out. Goes to show how poor that game was. I would love a create your own map function but we all know that Activision won't allow that so no point thinking about it.
