I am definitely curious to see how Gran Turismo 5 will have an impact on how NASCAR: The Game 2011 sells.

ALFAxD_CENTAURO4840d ago (Edited 4840d ago )

¿Sales?

C'mon, I am more curious about the quality for the gamers.

Nice show by the way.

BenCrazy4244840d ago

It won't. GT5 only had a sample of nascar with 2 nascar tracks and a couple of cars.

For the video, the delay was for them to polish the game more and to add more features which needed extra time to implement.

If people would DO a little research, they would know that activision is more afraid of Iracing than anything else which is why there will be no game for the PC this year.

egm_hiphopgamer4841d ago

Hey Nick,3DS it doesn't matter the price it's gonna see regardless the only concern i think will be the battery life for real I think that's gonna be an issue.

Great show as always man keep it gangsta peace

El_Colombiano4840d ago (Edited 4840d ago )

*bashes head against wall continuously*

My head hurt after trying to decrypt what you wrote.

ChickeyCantor4840d ago (Edited 4840d ago )

People might not like hiphopgamer,
but you have to be pretty incompetent if you are not able to understand what he wrote.

@hiphopgamer
Seriously, you are far from gangster.
Come here and lets cuddle.

Also battery life depends on several factors.
They tested it with every functionality on.

you are able to get more out of it if you turn off certain things.

The real killer4840d ago (Edited 4840d ago )

What the hell you talking about?
he is not bashing, just pointing out some his opnnion.

How do you know he is bashing? are you that stupid to take your conclusion just like Sidar did?

I don't know why you get those wannabe agree's but it's show how N4G baised is agains Hiphopgamer.

@Sidar, just don't talk like this sh!t becouse you are also not a gangster.

ChickeyCantor4840d ago (Edited 4840d ago )

" just don't talk like this sh!t becouse you are also not a gangster."

Talk like what?
Where the hell did I even say im "gangsta"...LOL

" e you that stupid to take your conclusion just like Sidar did?
"

What conclusion?!

Do I smell troll?

The fact someone agreed with you...
I must be missing something, it must be so stupid that i can't even figure out WTF you are talking about.

" How do you know he is bashing?"
He said he was bashing HIS AKA El_Colombianos head against the wall.

" I don't know why you get those wannabe agree's but it's show how N4G baised is agains Hiphopgamer."

Ah..raged fanboy....

ShAkKa4840d ago

What kind of glasses were you using when you read El_Colombiano' comment?

Army_of_Darkness4840d ago (Edited 4840d ago )

your either 4 years old.... or just a retard.

pcz4840d ago

lol there is nothing 'gangsta' about playing video games. gangsters should be in darkened, smoke-filled rooms playing card/dice games and planning murder and other crimes. not on internet forums talking about their favourite nintendo games and how much they love kirby.

furthermore, what the fuck has gangsterism got to do with gaming? shouldn't n4g be clamping down on the promotion of crime on their website!?

'keep it gangsta' ... roughly translates as ''keep breaking the law people, its cool''

:)

I think GT5 had a huge impact on the upcoming Nascar 2011. I cant wait for uncharted 3! And move? I dont know about that...

Orionsangel4840d ago

Nascar on GT5 isn't that robust. It doesn't feature every Nascar driver or track. It's like an after thought. I think Nascar fans are going to buy Nascar 2011 for the full Nascar experience.

sashimi4840d ago (Edited 4840d ago )

I still doubt Activision can give that full Nascar experience fans deserve anyway. Activision is welcome to prove me wrong but it is highly unlikely.

Orionsangel4840d ago

Why would anyone disagree? You think Nascar fans want an asian perspective of Nascar? No they want Nascar from an good ol' American perspective. The way it was meant to be. Who's with me Nascar fans! I'll drink to that!

MarioWarfare4840d ago

I really don't think Gran turismo 5 will have any impact on Nascar game sales. It's like saying need for speed sales are going to be affected by grand theft auto since they have driving in GTA games, Nascar is not the main focus of Gran turismo while it is the main focus of Nascar games.

Look, to be honest the FTC should just stop.

MS has A/B and nothing has really changed yet...if you are worried about 5-10 years from now...just drop it cause the future is unpredictable.

Take this week's news, that 4 Xbox exclusive are going Multiplatform.

Yeah man I think Microsoft here getting to probe is kinda wrong unless you only have accessed to necessary information not complete access imo.

Abriael77d ago

Obviously they aren't giving them the password to Sony's computers and telling them "help yourself."

Eonjay76d ago

"Microsoft allowed to probe Sony and Ubisoft"

Sounds hot...

ApocalypseShadow77d ago (Edited 77d ago )

Maybe Microsoft should also talk and get help from their "congressional influencers" at The Capital. They had plenty to say on the matter before the acquisition. They are mighty quiet after the purchase went through. Almost as if they had a stake in the matter.

Abriael77d ago

Could you perhaps explain how this is related? I'm honestly curious since you seem to bring it up rather often.

S2Killinit76d ago

He is pointing out how corrupt MS is, and how money talks. I think.

KwietStorm_BLM76d ago

I would say read between the lines but it's pretty damn clear as it is.

Bathyj77d ago

You should be careful upsetting Sony too much Microsoft.
You might need them to sell your subpar games soon.

TornRaptor77d ago

The games will become the best things ever all of a sudden.

Bathyj77d ago

Yeah I really doubt that.
I'm struggling to think of one I really cared about missing.

Hofstaderman77d ago

Bwhahahaha. Ain't that the truth.

Mr_cheese76d ago

The only exclusive im personally interested in from Microsoft is Elderscrolls and that's not even got s release date.

Everything else is genuinely of none interest.

OtterX77d ago

Microsoft never waits for the probing to be consensual.

derek77d ago

This isn't a major victory. They're essentially being allowed to call witnesses in regards to agreements they reached with Sony and Ubisoft which was initially blocked because Microsoft didn't make the request through the proper channels. This case is dead, there is no way the ftc will be allowed to unwind this acquisition.

Sephiroushin77d ago

they probably know case is death but want some proof to sue them for a few millions regarding other stuff, the ftc loves to sue everyone, be sure that as soon as all this end they will just go sue MS and end in a settlement.
