Downloading 12GB to try it for an hour isn't something I'd be wanting to do TBH but from having played it already I can safely say that anyone who bothers to is most likely to purchase the full game so it's not all bad. 12GB is enough to put most people off from trying it though.

I havn't bothered w/ any of 'em.
mainly for two reasons:
It's never a new game :( So I've usually tried it before.
or the d/l is obnoxiously large, that kinda puts me off.
So far, it's been a combo.
I've played/own every game they've put up trial's for.
I"m waiting for the day I will be actually using this opportunity >.<

you can get free dynamic themes in a website using your ps3's internet browser. I paid 2 bucks for heavyrain dynamic theme only to find out i coulda gotten it for free!

All Move games can use the DS3 in place of the Navigator.

I'm sure they'll keep it as an option because if you try using the DS3, you'll be wanting a Navigator. I was wanting one after just a few minutes of trying Heavy Rain with holding a DualShock with one hand.

You can in the demo just... for reassurance. Use the ds3 instead of nav. that is.

The disc has some DLC on it but I think this DLC may be for people who buy it used and be 'extra' DLC for people who don't want to wait to get guns unlocked through gameplay I think. Then again I don't know lol :)

i looked at the Amazon listing, and it looks like the DLC that is included is three expansions that have extra missions. The stuff that's on the store is extra armor and weapons. The listing also says that it comes with a one-time code for the cerberus network to download more stuff, but i don't know what that makes available.

If its anything like the 360 version, the cerberus network code lets you download extra guns and armor and a few extra side missions FREE.

Without the cerberus code you will have to purchase all of those extras.

The fact that Sony is selling Modern Combat at a discounted rate to its PS+ subscribers on its release day is HUGE. They are listening apparently because PS+ users have been clammering for that since PS+ came out.

Pretty decent update this week across the board.

Played the demo...it's pretty good but it only lets you play bomb and bust or whatever it's called(the one like counter-strike, plant the bomb at a or b). It makes you reload the map between every round which is pretty annoying.

Why do these developers put that mode as the showcased? I will try the demo anyway.

I know that this is a bit off topic but did anyone buy the Collectors Edition for LBP2? I got mine today and when I picked up the copy at EB games they gave me a voucher with a code to clam the various sackboy costumes and avatar that you get with the PS3. So after I entered the voucher code I got from EB games(which worked), I opened the game and another voucher fell out for the same thing. The only difference between the 2 is the voucher from EB games expires on 3/18/2011 and the voucher I got in the game does not appear to have an expiration date.

I think certain retailers get certain codes. I got mine from Amazon which apparently gets a Ratchet and Clank costume (I think).

The voucher you were handed was probably EB specific costumes, while the voucher inside was for collectors edition specific costumes (I think some additional animals and a bunch of other things).

In short, enter them both.

Edit: It looks like the EB games costume is Clu from TRON. I guess EB games counts as Gamestop.

I entered the voucher code from EB games and that downloaded all of the costumes and avatars as well. On the EB voucher these are the downloadable costumes that I got when I redeemed it:
-Tron costume
-Jak and Daxter costume
-The Great Gonzo costume
-Ratchet and Clank costume
-Alien Costume from Toy Story
-Even more Animals costume
Then of course the 5 PSN avatars.The voucher that came in the game has these listed as well if I were to redeem it. So i'm thinking I got another voucher :)

I was hyped for that game as well but let's face it: the game sucks. Tried the demo and...meh. The move support isn't really a selling point either - they clearly couldn't implement it properly.

I think most of those ME2 packages is a bit overpriced? Or is it reasonable. The cerberus pack doesn't really add much and that costs a massive 15 $.

It's equivalent to how it was priced on the 360. Cerebrus pack opens up the door to some other DLC if I remember correctly that you'd otherwise had to pay for. If you get the game new you should get it either way.
