I liked Red Faction, but it could have been so much better.

It seemed sometimes when attacking a base, you just had to die. Endless droves of respawning enemies would come and you could fight them off for a while, but eventually, enevitably, you had to die.

It would have been great if when you had a large base to destroy, you could take out smaller surrounding bunkers, and that would stop the respawning, like cutting off the supply lines.

Then they could still radio for help, but it would take a while to come from another came and give you time.

Would have put a lot more strategy into the game.

It got SO damn boring in Red Faction, though, when that happened as you just had to plough through until you reached a point where they stopped coming and often , esp with the retrieving people quests, you just ended up bursting in and legging it off as fast as possible. It often felt like 90% of the thought went into the destructible environment and buildings and sod everything else.

Another thing is I'm not someone who ever found any fun in just dicking about it GTA so I certainly didn't in the near dead world created for RFG. So, imo, I'd take anyone's vaginas over the bore fest that this cock loves so much. You pissed about with some NPCs! Really?!! Curse of the sandbox on the small minded and easily amused and I can't think of anything I'd find more dull.
