Fun game, buggy but what beta runs smooth?

It is a most buy if you like this type of game, only reason I'm not getting it is do to the lack of money for monthly fee (if their is one) heck I'm spending about $130 bucks just on Killzone 3 and that isn't counting Gamefly, Hulu Plus and all the other games I got preorder.

Some girls spend money on cloths and make up and some buy games.

kaelix4858d ago

cut down on special editions and you get more games

soundslike4858d ago

even better, don't waste your money on them at all. I see a fat cat exec squealing, "SUCKERRR" everytime someone buys a special edition

anywho, this game is going to rock. I plan on putting at least three months into it, and not buying any other game until then.

StoneyYoshi4858d ago

@soundslike

im getting the LBP2 collectors edition for 80 bucks and i believe i am getting a good deal for 20 bucks more. about ten bucks worth of dlc costumes, prolly 5 bucks worth of avatars, and 10 on the bookends/gameends and a 7" plush sackboy doll. i hit a great deal on that collectors edition.

Spitfire_Riggz4857d ago

But that sackboy plushy man.... its charms... cant get free..

Play the Rift beta, runs better then most mmos do months after release. I've been avoiding playing DCUO. Almost got PSN+ a few times this week to try it but resisted. I'm just going to wait for Rift or SWTOR.

Orange4855d ago

The DCUO beta is tons of fun and surprisingly addictive.

Arup024858d ago

Monthly fee? No way! I'm already paying to buy the game, and i have to play to play it? This is outrageous!

KillaManiac4858d ago

You complain about paying for a monthly fee for a MMO? Insanity..

Tell that to the 10+ million subscribers to World of Warcraft alone...yet alone all other MMOs that do subscriptions.

Spitfire_Riggz4857d ago

I know this is a dumb question but why are there subscriptions for these games, is it just because its constantly being maintained and its massive multiplaying online-ness? Lol my favorite mmo was knights online for gratis. Although it gave me a virus and was probably run by micro transactions/ads

dragonyght4858d ago

this Guy never play mmos in his life

Arup024858d ago (Edited 4858d ago )

I play a lot of MMO. Free ones. I don't like to pay a monthly fee just to play a game.

DarkBlood4858d ago

so how do u think those people keep the servers up on free to play mmos huh, i'll let you think about that one

NegativeCreepWA4858d ago

It's either you pay a monthly or pay for items and other things in the game like other free to play mmos. I would rather pay a monthly fee and earn items then buy them.

Need help ASAP,im in the beta and LVL 10 to 13 guys can kill LVL 20 guys . WTH, one or 2 hits and defeated. Are they glitching ?

dragonyght4858d ago (Edited 4858d ago )

Nav its a skill u unlock around lvl 8 for whatever power you using its powerful aoa that you charge up by defeating lots of mobs its quite useful for boss battles and against bully :D

Deacon4858d ago

It might be because the guys you were facing may have been fire users. The last patch pretty much bugged the hell out of the power and it's broken now. It'll more than likely get fixed by Monday. Did you send in a bug report?

ZombieStalker4857d ago

Sony has made some huge improvements with the past 2 patches....is it bug free, no but they are getting there.

My only issue is the the PS3 will have a higher purchase cost then the PC on release date. They should have the same price.

The comment about a keyboard or chat pad for the controller is SO true. I plan on picking up one to make chatting much easier.

MMOs In 2021 Retrospective: Console Edition

WTMG's Thomas Medina: "As far as I’m concerned, console MMOs have always been in a weird place. PC is where the main game is most popular. MMOs were born there, work best there, and have the vast majority of titles. Mobile is then next in line, with touchscreens and portability that adds something new while functioning well. Console gaming, on the other hand, is not portable (for the most part). Plus, it uses a controller, which is not the best instrument when your control scheme requires a thousand buttons and a cursor. That being said, there is an audience, and where there’s money to be made, publishers find a way. So here we are with some of the biggest console MMO games and how I feel they handled 2021. "

Best Superhero Video Games Available Right Now

From Xfire: "A lot of video games are designed to make players feel like a superhero. However, very few actually feature superheroes or have players take on the role of a superhero. What makes this even worse is that there are even fewer superhero video games that can be considered good."
