Hopefully this will fix my pretty major issue of black ops not even fudging working. Keeps freezing five seconds in, but works fine on my other PS3 :(

naw, i dont think treyarch are garbage devs... it just appears to me that they are under a lot of pressure from activision.. id like to see what they could do if given complete freedom, because they seem to have a lot of raw talent that is being held down because they are forced to make cod clones.

the party system, transmission error and scoping in with snipers aiming at a head then missing were my main problems.. they seem to have fixed it now xD ooh and the knife lunges haha

It's getting ridiculous with the panic knifing crap. I'm really getting tired of someone knifing me through bullets. If I shoot someone they should not be able to knife plan and simple. Man I cannot wait for Killzone 3 to come out because this alone is ruining the game for me.

It is for the best really. Re-rolling the SAM turret and sentry gun allowed for too many great kill streak awards with little effort. On one match over the weekend I got a Chopper Gunner, Gunship, and Attack Dogs back to back.

My wife has, literally, tried four times to get a simple game of TDM on PS3 Blops and every time it's ended up freezing on her before the end of one single match. She hasn't even got the chance to lose connection or any of the usual stuff that goes tits up with the undertested mess I was forced/conned into buying for her.

Seriously, it was weak before this patch and, so far, just seems to have introduced worse issues than there were to begin with. Every freeze has needed a total restart of the PS3 and we're now at the point where we're happy/feel safest leaving it til others start reporting a game that, y'know, sorta works again. Though why we should be shocked at a game this glitchy and devoid of beta and QA testing should magically improve after a single patch is kinda beyond me if I'm honest.

Started making us worry for the system tbh.

I know what you mean my system kept freezing with Fallout NV so much so i have put it on hold until the game is patched to many freezes for me to think its healthy for my system. if this is true about cod im saddened cuz even though im not a big COD fan ima fan right now.

Totally agree example...I shoot first get a couple rounds in the guy but I end up dead ..but I'm 100% sure I got the jump on him ....then I look at the kill cam and the guy is shooting me before I even see him...I'm like WTF ..I got 4bars I'm wired...I just play gt5 ..I've started playing mw2 way way less lag compare to this no lag

Until they start having dedicated servers for console users, your online experience probably wont change. Its the nature of the beast.

YEAH...I thought it was my tv at first (not being on game mode), its weird because sometimes its very snappy and I get nice kills and other times it seems like everyone sees me about half a second before I see them, and it is so frustrating.

Yep....screen freeze for me also...PS3 version. Had to hard reset...It almost feels like Fallout: New Vegas again....they patched it...but shit I had to hard reset FO: New Vegas a few days ago at least twice.....This is getting a bit ridiculous...I'm thinkin Class action lawsuit...lol

This patch is actually a set back, i lag more than i did with 1.04, plus the framerate issues and disconnections. I am putting this game back for a refund.

yuppp i agree tried playing this morning totally unplayable. Too many host migrations, disconnections and lag. you would of think billions made from sales would at least give us dedicated servers on consoles. i hearing great things from killzone 3 multiplayer side (didnt really enjoy the second one due to poor controls), and i recall it has dedicated servers, too bad i got to wait a couple more months.

I had brought BO for my PS and Xbox but after all the issues friends have had with the PS i sent it back, the game has been a poor show for a software house i had a lot of respect for .

Treyarch,Infinity ward need to hire some new programmers. Updates should fix things, not break... Every COD is always the same. They try to patch something and end up breaking another thing. Infinity Ward was the worst developers for breaking games.

that update did nothing for the game, the game still sucks, what they need to fix.

SPAWN = didnt get fix they said they did
WHEN U HARD AIM bullet misses even tho the mark is on the enemy, never happen in MW2 or any COD
SHOTGUN = weak ass hell garbage have to shoot more than twice to kill an enemy close combat

Im impressed by the improvements made to the snipers as it seems a lot more enjoyable, but it can get pretty frustrating with the issues that are still going on such as connection interuptions/host migration etc...

Earlier I posted how the game was running poorly earlier on in the day now it looks like the game is no longer working at all, I've inserted the disc and loaded the game from the XMB all I recieve is a black screen, I've tried deleting the game data and still the game refuses to load is anyone else experiencing the same problem?

today come from work turn on my laptop check out my video games on N4G see Black Ops update first thing click it click link read what were the improvements im happy and exited thinking my experience would be a diff one then any recent ones.... Once i start the game i go into a game and play for 5 minutes and the "connection Interrupted" message appears im like OMFG! WTF! wasnt this "SUPPOSE" to have gotten fixed?? ok i tell myself nah maybe that was one of those random times and that i was unfortunate enough to happen to me first thing... well no it just keeps happening so now im playing an RPG and Black Ops is in the pile of games i hardly play anymore and AM!
