It almost seems like a missed opportunity here, considering how good Ys Seven is/was. I know that game was built from the ground up for PSP, but other developers (like Atlus) have shown you can remake old games on the PSP and make them even better than the original.

I never played a Ys game but I'm liking the action/rpg element, I'm surprised that that's how these games played. I always thought they were strat-rpgs. :[
