In Naruto Shippuden: Dragon Blade Chronicles, the number one hyperactive knucklehead ninja faces off against faceless foes. The Mugonhei are soulless, lifeless mud doll automatons that shuffle after our hero with all the intensity of a pile of rocks. Dispatching them quickly becomes a mindless chore for the over-the-top Naruto, as the zombie-like mudmen can never hope to match his energy -- and that interaction ends up defining this entire game pretty well.

If you actualy go back and look at dragonball, Naruto is beyond it. Just because dragonball was out first doesn't make it better. It's your complete standard shoenen thoguh a good one at that, Naruto atleast tries to even out the super happy main good character with a super evil depressed bad character who is as equally important to the plot as the main character.

The main character is 51% Naruto - 49% Sasuke, the 1% differance just because it's named after Naruto. And of course Naruto will win in the end, this is a shoenen, it's like wondering if the sith will win in the star wars ending.

Also the fact that it uses someone like Itachi who no one can say was right or wrong in what he did(fans conflict alot on him)

all most all the ones you mentioned and none of them are above naruto and DBZ. DB was better than DBZ but over all naruto is better.

Bleach actually is better than NARUTO. histories strongest disciple kenichi is the best for me. funny, action and a little(a lot lately) fanservice and good story

was just boring i can't even fully remember what it was about. samurai x(ruroni kenshin) was good I actually like those too. wish they made the jinchu arc in anime form. the samurai x (ova's)ones are from jinchuu arc flashback but are short.

bebop I didn't like the ending and the anime was all over the place. Ghost I never could get into. Maybe its the gun culture of it.

I'm more into swords or martial art based stories. Most of the ones you mentioned were short lived too. So you couldn't see much growth from the characters

Jetlian...Bleach is better than NARUTO? Don't kid yourself. For the past couple of years the Bleach manga has been an absolute travesty. Repetitive plot that fails to reach the excellence of the original soul society arc, drawn out plot line and repetitie battles and terrible pacing.

As for Jack Pyro, I know theres better series out there. Trust me, I know. But Naruto remains my favorite series regardless. You too, putting Bleach higher, I know is a matter of opinion but it still makes me question your argument. Bleach has had horrendous writing and pacing for well over a year now. Why do you think its popularity has shot down so much as of late? And why do you think Naruto and One Piece consistently pwn it in the weekly JUMP polls. Bleach hasn't been good since the Soul Society arc. If Kubo can't recapture that again then he may as well give up writing Bleach.

Are you talking about manga or anime? I read tonnes of manga, and watch a fuck load of anime, more so than a lot of people and I don't see how you're comparing Naruto to Trigun, Samurai X and Cowboy Bebop when they're completely different genre's. They're not even shounen. Heck they push into the Seinen genre.

I can list plenty of reasons why Naruto is better:

1) The pacing is far superior to Bleaches. Fights in Naruto aren't dragged out to the point of boredom with constant blade clashes like in Bleach. Every move made results in a new revelation in the fight. Story pacing is much better too, especially as Naruto has reached the 4th Ninja War arc, the pacing of the story has been comparable to One Piece. The amount of times I've read Bleach and felt like I've got no where after 5 chapters in the story. Kubo's editor should be shot.

2) Variety of techniques. Naruto easily has one of the widest variety of techniques, fighting styles I've seen in a shounen manga. One only has to look at Hiden Sha no Sho, the 3rd Data Book to see this. Bleach has spells, but for the most part its just swords and blades which as usual result in the constant sword clashes I mentioned earlier, as well as stupid generic shit like people running away from fights.

3) Characters. Although Kishi could do some work on using characters more, the development of them is much better and he is much better at showing off non main characters than Kubo.

I could go on, but in the grand scheme of things Kishimoto is a much better mangaka than Kubo. Like wise, Oda (of One Piece) is better than both of them (even though I prefer Naruto over all others, Oda is a genius in the way he presents his series and keeps it fresh. The pacing is perfection).

lol dude naruto battles are getting to the point of DBZ levels. Bleach battles last but 1-2 epsodes max!!! the pain invasion was like 20 episodes and theres flashbacks in like every episode of naruto!

And virtually everyone naruto fights he changes them. He hasn't grown at all,still crying . Also for the anime you had 85 straight filler and they all sucked! Shippuden was super slow too.

Bleach filler is pretty decent. bount arc was good and had great fights. Koga fight with byakuya was tight. Animation on bleach is consistent narutos is all over the place.

Only thing I can give naruto is they more special moves

Edit: Bleach just lacks back story on all the people. And look at naruto manga adding dead characters back wtf is that? its like they couldn't think of new ones.

Naruto should have killed sasuke by now. he tried killing them at the hideout he nearly killed sakura.He went after BEE who did nothing to him. he killed danzo It like wake up dude he's a lost cause. Naruto lets him go free.

Sorry new age anime guys but Naruto doesnt even hold a candle to dragonball. Goku is pretty much the superman of japan (ha that even rhymed) and it will always be that way. I Dont know how anyone could say Naruto is good anyway. Its just flash back for 30 episodes, fight, and more flashbacks. Half the characters are emo as well so they have to get thier own little show and have a 5 episode flashback so they dont feel left out and cut themself even if they have bugger all relevance in the story. God what a boring show. Once I the Hokage died (spoiler) that was it for me.

Sounds like the people in this thread should broaden their anime watching a bit or even their manga watching because the things people are listing a great and all but theres much more out there man.

I have plenty of taste my friend. I can enjoy my moe and fun anime, as well as my serious and deeper stuff. You say most of them are awful, yet a lot of them are HUGE in Japan. So either Japan has bad taste in anime (lolwut?) or you're trying too hard. I also reccomend Cencoroll , The Girl Who Leapt Through Time and Angel Beats. All I was doing was reccomending some fun anime to watch.
