Fallout: New Vegas Corrupted Saves?

Seriously, you act like he disrespected you. I got the platinum in Castlevania without a save file problem, but less than 3 hours into New Vegas, my system froze, along with frame pauses every couple minutes. Its inexcusable to put out a product that is EXPECTED to have the same bugs over and over. What is going on in testing if I can get these bugs this early in a 100+ hour game?

just stating that Ive played alot of both of these games and havent had a corrupted save.

Im sure there are problems for some people, but im not going to let it ruin my experience when I havent had any corrupted saves in either of the games.

how does a game with so many problems gets good review scores is beyond me

bottom line is reviewers and gamers have lowered their expectations that games actually work as they should when we buy them

I agree it's a total joke and devs shouldn't release buggy games. This is all thanks to all consoles now coming with ability to patch games. This kind of stuff was extremly rare on PS2/Xbox/GC generation but is now so damn common because devs just think they can patch problems later and save money rather than hiring a team to test the games for bugs and save some cash.

not everyone has internet. some gamer don't want or need it cause they just play sp games. knowing this I won't buy fonv because I put up with these same prpoblems in fo3, which, I traded cause of the constant crashing. is oblivion this buggy?

Its made by bethesda. All of there games are ok or bad but back then they had great games for the time and now all people do is rate their games great no matter what.

Yeah corrupted game saves occur with nearly any game, it's just random.

I suppose it's the Oblivion/Fallout3 engine which is broken. They should bring a new, up to date, bug-free engine.

By the way, Fallout:NV = Fallout3

im playing the pc version and i have 125 saves i keep recycling between them , my save folder is using 286 MB . you can have up to 1000 saves in this game

3 minutes to boot the game and load the save file? Do you know what you're tallking about? It doesn't take even a minture to do all that on the 360. Also it sounds pretty funny bragging about games being $10 cheaper on the pc, but you have to spend over a thousand dollars to get a decent gaming pc.

You don't need to spend that much, it takes little over $300-500 to get a decent gaming PC. Of course that's if you build it, and not get suckered by retailers.

Because its a major multiplatform release by a well-known developer. If any PS3 exclusive was this buggy, it would be getting ripped by reviewers. If it was an IP by a small, unknown developer, it would be getting ripped. But because it has the name "Fallout" in the title and comes from Bethesda/Obsidian, it gets 8s and 9s.

This is why you can't trust professional reviews. The only reviews I trust are the ones that come from gamers after release.

Def not buying this game until/unless they fix all these bugs... Glad I picked up MOH instead.
