Weren't Sony and Nintendo at one point working on a system together that would use the CD-ROM format but Sony and Nintendo ended their partnership and thus what became the Playstation. I don't recall Nintendo ever "screwing over" Sony. Sony saw potential in what Nintendo had involved them self with and jumped the ship and used the format for their system. Nintendo then went with Philps and out came the CD-i.

Actually Nintendo backed out because Sony would have retained all rights to any IP that used the new CD format under their agreement. Nintendo was not willing to let that happen so they backed out leaving Sony hanging with new tech and nothing to put it in. Sony decided to create the PSX and stick it to Nintendo.

Square didn't screw Nintendo over either, in fact the article even says the reason for this, the reason why FF7 was scrapped on the 64 was because a game that big wasn't technically possible on cartridges, nor was it cheap so in reality Nintendo screwed themselves over. The sony/square screwing over Nintendo is absolute BS i would hardly call it a scandal

nintendo pulled out of it, bc they seen sony would have all the rights to the cd based games. nintendo pres didnt like that, so he renegged on the deal, thus goin to phillips and sony was left out in the cold like WTF.

Well Ubisoft should not have PIMPED her out as if she was the only person who made Assassins Creed. I still see the picture of her in the front of the deveoper team smiling like she was the only damn person on earth who mattered.

She loved the attention and hardly ever mentioned all the other people who played a more important role in that game than her. So tough if she gets flack from people who are sick of looking at her massive chin everytime Ass Creed is mentioned.

What about Jeff Gertsmann getting canned from Gamespot because of Eidos for the Kane and Lynch review? I mean, even today that is still talked about and remains one of the most notorious examples of where journalism and corporate interests meet.

It's mostly speculation that Gerstmann was fired over the review, no one has ever officially commented on his leaving. Pretty much everything else on that list is legitimate in that regard.

Personally, I think they fired him because he was biased towards 360. During his time there, no ps3 game got a higher score than a 7. He was a fanboy and deserved to get fired.

This article seems to have a few errors in, such as saying the ps3s released in Australia didnt have ps2 compatibility which is weird because my ps3 still plays them now and i bought mine here in Australia plus another wierd thing was this hot coffee mod with gta san andreas i have my Australian one with me in my cabinet and it has the hot coffee thing on it i just have to use an Action replay to make it unlock i have a feeling this wasnt very well researched.

Microsoft is a joke! Morally reprehensible and disgusting! A man decides to use his surname for his gamertag and they ban him? WTF is that? Some gay kid gets offended because his name is Gaywood and Microsoft sees fit to ban the guy? I don't understand this. He's paying for the service, and the company obviously knows his name is Gaywood. So what's the problem here? Then they stick to their guns and say that "while his surname is indeed Gaywood, other Live members will be offended." Who the fuck are they to decide if my family's name is offending anyone? What a bunch of bullshit. It isn't like his gamertag was "RagingHomoCock". Gaywood is not the most uncommon name or even the slightest bit offensive.

Funny how no one at Microsoft was offended when they charged his credit card to create the Xbox Live account. Gaywood is OK when making a payment, just not when playing Halo I suppose. Microsoft must have a lot of homosexual, self loathing employees.
