Online multiplayer has become a cornerstone of this generation. Millions of people log in every day to test their mettle against players all around the world and many of today’s biggest franchises are sold on the back of their multiplayer component. However, a small number of titles dominate the charts, often to the detriment of other robust, satisfying experiences. No one would argue that Call of Duty and Halo are immensely fun to play, as are Battlefield and Gears of War. However for those of you looking for something different, here’s a mix of titles that many of you may not have played, but really should.
Cultured Vultures: In the spirit of preserving some kind of history of this industry, we’ve decided to list some of the best games that you just simply can’t get hold of digitally at the minute.
I just started playing Spec op. I've had it for years on steam and forgot about it. Such a good game.
Honorable mention to the excellent Driveclub, one of the best racing games of all-time and one of my favourite games ever.
Outrun Online Arcade, Sega Rally Online Arcade, After Burner Climax... all good stuff. I keep my 360 hooked up to play these as well as the TMNT games that were also delisted.
wow...I have all of them except the Nintendo ones either in physical or digital version.
Also..Deadpool the Game is missing on that list.
With the recent successes of Xbox's acquisition of Activision Blizzard, even Hasbro wants to see the classic Transformers games come to Game Pass.
C'mon MS find those games on whatever hard drive they're hidden on.
There's a few transformers games from Activision I missed out or didn't finish. Would love to come back to them at some point if they appear on GP.
“Activision’s not sure what hard drives they’re on in their building. When a company eats a company that eats a company things get lost, and that’s very frustrating.”
By Unicron’s beard, find them! 😳
Does Activision still have the rights? I thought they lost them, and that was why the Cybertron games left stores.
I didn't really look into it at the time.
GF365: "Among all the well-received and beloved video games, there are some that are horrendous. Here are our picks for the worst big budget games released since 2010."
Anthem; I'd forgotten that game existed. I remember thinking the trailer was BS though; turns out I was right.
"Worst big budget games" and immediately lists Genshin Impact, a game that has $4 billion in revenue.
I havent played Genshin Impact and Mafia 3 was alright. The rest though I kind of agree with.
I loved the 1st Kane and Lynch and I could not understand how the 2nd game was as bad as it was.
More gamers need to play Demon's Souls
I enjoyed Singularity's multiplayer a lot. There are allot more games that could be on this list
It just came out in Europe, I think (hope and pray)the sequel will be cross platform.
I heard good things about Singularity, but hadn't played it so didn't want to add it until I knew myself. If I made a complete list, it would go on forever! Really wanted to put Turok on it... but that's just me.
The online was pretty damn good when it was first poppin. Had some pretty sick game modes(Siege and Demolition). The standard gamemodes DM TDM CTF were good, but when you throw in the ability to destroy every piece of the environment(building structures only sadly) it just adds to the experience.
Plus the weapons and backpacks(like Jetpacks Shields Stealth etc...) were crazy.
It was always satisfying to hit someone with a sledgehammer through wall. XD
Loving Singularity. Playing as a tick is hillarious... Just difficult to get a game going as the community is small. (PS3 Version).
