... Didn't like the design of Harley in the first AA, and don't like it here. I wish they would stay a bit closer to the comic/animated version of the character.

Catwoman looks fantastic though. Obviously inspired by Adam Hughes' design (who based her looks on Audrey Hepburn). Maybe the co-up will be with her, considering Robin/Nightwing/Batgirl are still nowhere to be found in the pics, and you can see her smacking Two-Face in ... his... ehm... face.

It all looks pretty damn good, and it's still a year till release, so I can't wait :)

Hopefully the game will also have lots of unlockables, like concept-artwork, extra costumes, etc etc.

Can not blame Rocksteady, Batman AA has some good graphics and its going to be a challenge to improve them on the the sequal (Gear of War 2)

I think the reason for Harley's new look is because she's with two face now. Look at her pant colors and hair red and black are his colors and are on opposite sides. She looks smoking and I wish this game would be out now.

When did Harley ever look like a clown? She has mostly been designed as a jester. The biggest difference with her design in the Arkham games is that her full head is exposed, i.e no 'hood' from the jester uniform. These games are also based on the graphic novels, which call for darker, more aggressive design, so I think she looks fine. What's wrong with her look, exactly?

was expecting someone to say this, and yes it can be taken as a valid point for Batman.

However, for those of us wanting to invest in characters it is easier to do so if they can be more easily perceived as realistic; not just in appearance but characterisation as well. This is why Nolan's Batman works better than Burton's.

When I'm playing a game I don't want the idea in the back of my head that it's a grown up playing with dollies. I want to have experiences akin to the movie theatre or reading a good book. Arkham Asylum was a good game, but Unreal Engine was a blight upon it.

the developer says its ingame or screenshots but they add more AA and higher res textures in it . in real world they are in engine renders (on a monster PC may be , or debug system with more RAM)

the final version wont look like that. like EPIC games or many other companies, they just use BULLSHOTS to create more hype and fool customers.

Epic don't state them to be Screenshots, in fact the Artwork they release can be collected within the Limited Editions Artwork Book, they are just mid-quoted.

for console visuals, like GG has done. Mind you, Sony PR claimed KZ to be in game, not GG themselves. This is unlike Reign & CLifforton B. There is no "on most occasions" its all the time. Every game, even Unreal 3 on consoles was plagued with bullshots.

to any unreal engine game. Still isn't even close, while GG managed to usher in a new level of visuals for the console world. Epic won't/will never. The goal isn't pushing tech, its pushing a game.

Epic uses bullshots in magazines/screenshots on websites from unplayable angles, Cinema cameras, its still done today. Characters posing in front of a camera in an action pose. Yawn.

As far as bullshots go, Epic is the worst offender this generation. Why show off cut-scene visuals/bullshots, and claim the engine is bigger...

Ill buy this one just like the previous one, Rocksteady does a hell of a good job making a game. I just wish for 4% more variety, and less back tracking. I love the combo/counter system..

Bullshots are in-game shots that have been edited some way. Softening any jagged edges, enhancing colour or focus, or even rendering the image at a larger than normal resolution (1080p image for what's only going to be a 720p game) etc.

I think what most people mean by bullshots are in-game screens that have been tampered with to look prettier than they actually are. Kind of like how a picture of a model is touched up a bit in Photoshop (removing any blemishes, scars etc).

Actually, it's unclear whether screenshots taken at higher resolutions should be considered bullshots. You know, there are some monster rigs out there that can render stuff at 4 times the framerate a regular one does. Or at the same framerate but at insane resolutions.

I'd say a bullshot is a screenshot that was manipulated outside the game engine.
