Hmmm, yeah it looked like an 8-8.5 game. But, it's still awesome. I'm gong t buy this dy 1. But, what I want to know is how is the wanted system in thsi game? Is it like the GTA games?

You play as a WWII veteran, so prohibition is already over when the game takes place.

Hard punch, light punch, dodge....great fighting mechanics?

IDK, am I the only one who was never a fan of these lock in fights with two attacks and a dodge/block button?

Overall, it seemed like a pretty generous score anyway.

The fight mechanics are compotent, and serve there purpose. The figthing gameplay isn't exactly the bread and butter of the game, so it doesn't really matter that it's not exactly stellar. It's relatively satisfying to use the special finishes although a little repetative, which is really fine respective to how little hand-hand is done in the gameplay.

I think that the shooting, is great though. Especially compared to the GTA games, Seriously, who needs lock on targeting? All the weapons were very satisfying in the demo, and aside a few issues here and there with how enemies responded to bullet impact (I shot a guy, on a bench, from above... he flew over the bench lol), it was real great to gun people down.

3 stars- get shot at with pistols
4 stars- get shoot at with tommy guns and shotguns
5-stars not sure what it is havent gotten that far haha

the wanted system is basically the same as gta series. the more mayhem you cause the higher your wanted level goes up and more cops come after you. but no helicopters or swat teams like gta though, lol

demo is old build. Pre E3. Honestly the lack of grass is by far the lesser problem. Lil to non AA, terrible framerate and screen tearing (game is barely playable) show the demo is quite early. It is expected the final build to be in much better shape.

I have some hopes, some previews out there say those problems in the PS3 demo are not present in the final build.

Regarding your question. I dont think they did it in purpose, it is just the PS3 version behind the others, as usually happens in multiplatform development.

Regarding the article. I dont trust reviews of demos.

Its a review of a DEMO, so it does not confirm anything about the graphics. I will pick this up for ps3 because of exclusive DLC, yup i just owned you. Now shoo back under your bridge, i said shoo!

Usually if you have a game flooded with f-bombs in the dialog and nudity as a reward token. Means there is noticeable flaws in a game. Use shock value to distract such things. Aside from that, this is a showcase demo. I guess those who are interested in purchasing this game will have to wait for a real review from the full game version.

all I know is that if the ps3's version is like the demo I won't buy it
because the demo had framerate problems, less detailed graphics, no AA, bad lip syncing.

But all I experience in the demo gameplay was great and the demo actually got me into this game since I never cared for it since all the news about this game.
