CVG: 'The harsh and empty Wild West is an eerie place - and Rockstar has shown it can exploit this brilliantly seedy, unbalanced side to a once-romanticised tableau. Hopefully the studio won't go all 'clean' on us - and develop the more creepy moments in Red Dead Redemption 2.'
Rockstar Games’ shiny new Red Dead Redemption port is now on GTA+, and you can play it while claiming some tasty GTA Online benefits.
Rockstar still strying to make GTA plus work
Should be $6 for the rdr game on sale not 6 bucks for a months playtime
One of my favorite games from PS3 generation. I have the remaster as there was a buy 2 get 1 free deal a while back but the price they are charging for the port is way too high although not surprising at all.
The freedom to explore large areas, approach objectives in multiple ways, and stumble across amusing distractions will always be an excellent format for video games, but some do it better than others. To celebrate the formula and parse the best from the best, have a look at the best open-world games of all time so far.
General Stability Fixes and Improvements. Upgrade for PC version, and more.
Console players get screwed this time instead of PC. I'll only buy Rockstar Games now on PC because they got too savvy with how much milkage they can get away with.
And I'll wait till it's on sale
And I'll probably wait till private servers are avaliable.
GTA VI looks great but impending 30fps for the next 5 years just doesn't sound all that great these days.
Also take RDR2 out to the back pasture already if you aren't actually gonna give us the update your fans want.
Scumbags
How hard is it to put 60fps on current gen consoles.. damn it would make a massive difference.. so lazy!!
Wish Rockstar would just uncap the frame rate for Ps5 / xsx
It was long rumoured there was a next gen version coming but we're at the half way point and it's still not here.
Not everything has to be a remake the game was and still is phenomenal on PS4 backwards compatibility I'd be happy with the current resolution and fidelity just uncap that frame rate
I really dug the atmosphere that RDR gave off. It's not supposed to be like GTA with tons and tons of people running around every inch of the map. I think they did a great job.
They did such a brilliant job on red dead that if they were to do it again would be duplicative. If they are going to do anything, create a new world. create an new place...don't do it over again. Really looking forward to LA Noir. Also, if they were to do it again, I would like to see it maybe later in the US history. Maybe the son of John's Son--distant relative..so that we could see how some of the things have changed...or visit Armadillo when it is a ghost town...etc. If they do it again, they need to make some major changes...liven up the world a bit more...it is an incredible feat, but there needs to be something to alter the landscape.
I would like to see Red Dead Redemption articles not appearing in the PC section since there is no RDR on the PC but I get the feeling it isn't going to happen.
How would it be 2? That's like saying "What we expect from Elder Scrolls: Oblivion 2". Stupid. Also, hopefully they just make a new IP but I know that's wishful thinking. Can be the same style but why is it so much to ask for a new setting and theme? One game is plenty for the wild west, considering the setting was pretty bland and empty. I don't think I would get another game like that.
