Nerds Forced To Leave Comic Con After Playing TERA For Six Straight Hours

That’s right, SIX hours with hardly a bathroom break. While hanging out with the guys at En Masse, we were alerted to the fact that two guys had been playing TERA non-stop all day. As the convention was coming to a close, they refused to leave the terminal. So naturally, we interviewed them!!

These guys were at Comic Con . . . with ONE DAY passes. They spent the WHOLE DAY playing TERA. I mean yes, it's an awesome MMO. But there was A LOT to see. I lovehow you can see the Assassin's Creed Brotherhood booth in the backround . . . These guys . . . not interested. :-p

i played it at E3, everything those guy say is true

you aim, timing is everything, a weak character can take out difficult mobs with some tactics and patience

Sorry but this is nothing new
I've seen a Monk and Shaman in EQ tag team a raid mob and kite it around. Took them hours but they did it. Seen similar in WoW, Star Wars, and all the other MMO's I've played. Maybe this game is different but from that line it doesnt seem like it.

I always find the definition of nerds someone who has this distant look and a weird personality. Now with the looks it has to be just that someothing, really hard to explain that you immediately look and just know he or she is a nerd.

I finished ME2 in like 3 or 4 days...it took 44hrs...yeah everyone has been there, but that doesn't mean it's healthy or normal. Diablo 2...those were dark days of grinding.

I once played 12 hours straight of Killing Floor trying to rank up while hosting my own server the whole time. My little bro in the next room yelling "HEAL ME" periodically....

Good times... I couldn't do it for an MMO though, just not my thing.

...then it worked. I went and checked out the Tera's website only to find yet another JRPG looking MMO. Looks boring as hell and there doesn't seem to be anything about to set it apart from the other "true action" MMO.

Lol when I was at college for 2 years, everyday we have a 1 or 2 hour break between lessons no point going home so we use to go in Gamestation on the 360 (just came out) and the PS2. after about a year n half they finally decided to unplug the pads and stop people playing them :P

Even had a go on dora the explorer once there lol! was a long day.

The worst gameing nerds are the ones who hog up the demo booths and game areas in a store or mall like its there own house or something. I look at them like wow get a job and a life you freaking nerd looser. I mean honestly dudes its like the equivalent of some ghetto people or trailer park red necks doing... (insert scenario here).

People who jump on those things and play forever are like a bunch of crack heads who just found a rock.

Just picture anytime you just wanted someon to leave for whatevr reason and thats basicallly how everyone feels about the dudes who stay on the game kiosks forever. Yall are lucky you dont get shot because thats the level of pissed people get about you nubs clwoning around on them things.

I love how these people get paid to be "journalists" and they don't even know the difference between your and you're. I learned that in like, grade 1. Jesus.

Anyway, yes, this will be the future of MMO combat, I don't see how it couldn't be, or why it isn't like that already. There are a bunch of Korean MMOs like that already but this will be the first to come to North America I believe. Also, I think Warhammer 40k is action based as well from what I've seen in the trailer. This is the reason why The Old Republic will be so effing boring. I don't see tons of "single player" gamers - to whom the game is targeted - spending years playing that game with crappy boring combat when they see all the good MMOs coming out with action based combat at the same time. Bioware messed up bad with the combat.
