Critical Gamer writes: The first thing I’d like to do in this article is shamelessly plug the recently launched CG forum, which you can find at www.soapboxgamers.co.uk or by clicking the ‘forum’ link at the top of the page. There is a reason; this was originally going to be a post in said forum, until I realised I had too much that I wanted to say (as is, unfortunately for those that know me, so often the case). The second thing I’d like to do here is mention what I originally said in the forum, which has led to this article. Sadly for me, telling you this will have the side effect of making you hate me. Are you ready?
I really liked Deus Ex: Invisible War.
Hanzala from eXputer says, "After multiple delays, cancellations, and ownership changes, the misfortune of Deus Ex continues; this gem of a series deserves better."
One can only hope at this point Embracer will need to generate an influx of cash flow, and what better way to do so than to sell off some of its IPs... namely Deus Ex, to a competent and talented studio capable of delivering a game noteworthy of the name in future. And thinking about it further, I don't know why Embracer would sit on the IP vs sell it if it means staying in business or not.
Some games endure despite the average player wishing they could skip that first hour - here are five annoying video game openings in otherwise classic titles.
I liked the Red Dead 2 opening, certainly didn’t feel like a slog to me, but I enjoyed that whole game so for those who were just expecting ‘GTA but with cowboys’, that was probably not the opening they expected, and Red Dead 2 wasn’t the game they were hoping for …
First game that came to mind when I read the title, was Watch Dogs 2, because you’re expecting an open world sandbox game in sunny colorful San Francisco, and instead that opening has you crawling and sneaking around an incredibly boring office building …
A talented modder is creating an HD iteration of the classic Dues Ex (2000) experience in Unreal Engine 5. A new video reveals more details.
Cease and Desist DMCA imminent. All these fan projects get killed because they can't wait to show it off before it's complete.
Finish the mod/game then show it off and release it. If you announce it early then it can get taken down.
Deus Ex: Invisible War felt very rush and lost a lot of what made Deus Ex special
another bloggers crap , pass. I am sure this will get high degrees thanks to fanboyism.
Just play what do you want rather than spending time writing those worthless articles .
I've got to say, I don't think I could disagree with you more, but then again I love PC gaming. When my hands sit in neutral on a keyboard, the fingers on my left hand fall into the WASD claw with my little finger on left shift and thumb on the space bar, with my right hand sitting firmly on my mouse. It just feels like it was made for first person shooters!
I like pc controls but it took a bit of getting used too after using a games controller
well i love both pc and console gaming...
