Life sentence in murder over an Xbox case

19 year old Kyle Sebastian Scott of Colorado Springs has been found guilty and convicted of not one, but two charges of first degree murder. This was on top of being charged and convicted with aggravated robbery, and a myriad of other things for the murder of a mentally handicapped 22 year old, Jason Holley.

What you seem to forget is that it takes money to keep him in prison. Since he's living off tax payer dollars (the money I contribute every year). I'd rather see it being spent by killing these people then keeping them alive. Maybe he can live off your dime if you care about keeping him alive so much. I doubt it though.

Even if he got the death penalty, it's never just a quick "bam. he's dead." he'll be living off your tax payer dollars for years, and getting even more from you with all the appeals and court assigned lawyers.. He doesn't look rich to me. Also, the chemicals just to kill them are insanely expensive, and people will spend years on death row. If they aren't in perfect health when they're sposed to be executed, they'll postpone it. It's really ridiculous. I'm not anti-death penalty, but I'm not for it either. Our justice system is really kind of silly, it's hard to be pro- or anti- anything.

Really, life imprisonment would be a much worse punishment, especially since you'll end up paying for him either way. Sure, burning in hell quicker would seem worse, but let's have him have the most pointless waste of a life ever, be super miserable in prison, and then most likely rot in hell for eternity. Let's hope he goes to a maximum security, they're super terrible.
