Yeah, it was fun. Bad graphics and several flaws, but I liked the open nature of the story. The low budget shows a lot, but it sure as hell isn't as bad as they make it out to be.

Played and beaten bug island.
It was bad but in a PS1 survival horror kind of way,so I enjoyed the bad dialogue,
graphics etc...

Two Worlds was created by a small team without any major funding. The crazy thing was when I purchased the game, it got to a point that I could not stop playing it. But by the time I played other games, the framerate killed it for me. If it wasn't for the frame rate and a couple of other bugs, it would have been a good game.

The Gold Edition of the game on Steam comes fixed enough that the game is playable, good even.

I got Too Human really cheap from ebay, mainly out of curiousity, but i was suprised at how fun the game can actually be. The reviews it recieved were pretty much all bad but i think they were all negative due to the differences betwen how the game was hyped and how it turned out.

Don't get me wrong, the game is quite rough but i still finished it and found it to be pretty fun!

The only problem I had with too human. Was the looooong death scene. God I hated that. Other than that it was a fun game. I kind of wish MS would make another too human game. But that's just me

Yeah the death scene was a killer, mainly cos i died a bit and every single time you'd have to wait for the valkyrie to slowly come down, slowly pickk you up and then slowly fly back into the sky...it would have been much better if they let you skip it!

But yes, if they fixed the issues that plagued the first i wouldn't mind having a sequel, possibly even them finishing the proposed trilogy.

I'm also a big too human fan, now I probably would have felt a little bad if I had spent 60 on it, but I got mine for 10 new, and I can easily say i would have paid more for it and been okay with it. The biggest complaint for me would have been online limited to 2 players, and needed more map variety - which is something a sequel could have brought us, but im not so sure about TH's future now :s

This is FF, the first one on "next gen" consoles and one that took 4gens in the current gen of systems to come out... it's not supposed to be a "good game"

Eternal Sonata and others like that can get away with being "good" but THIS was Final Fantasy, the upper echelon of JRPGing with one of the longest history in modern video gaming not some new upstart IP.

If you make FF "good" you'll upset literally millions of gamer fans and they did just that thus the anger.

u know wats awesome? I HATE ff12. didnt like ff10 or X-2. didnt like 9, but i liked 13.....everyone has their opinions and i personally dont give a crap that people werent happy, cuz the ones they loved i hated.

how do people complain and say u just hit auto attack and u win....ya obviously never beat the game, and yet ya like ff12 which rewards u for using the gambit system which basically if u do it right u dont even have to touch the controller.....right

Eat lead: return of Mat Hazard. I mean its average at best but still entertaining. It has a lot of bad humor like in 80-90's action films (which is one thing the game parodies.)

Its not AAA or AA or even A but its light years away from shovelware.
Decent rent or bargain bin game to see the good parts of the humor.

Opinion: Haze was decent game, worth the single playtrough on hard, it boasted nice co-op mode and multi-player mode that could have used more content. Disappointment yes, but far from shovelware.

I loved two worlds. Dropping taints and destroying the server at midnight was a blast. You drop the taints in the town and demons spawn at midnight, each taint sprouted 2 monsters so about 140 taints well, xbox servers go bye bye after that. was a blast. Too human was also aewsome btw. Way of the samuri i still another one of my fav ps3 titles next to demons souls.

Modern Warfare 2's campaign and spec-ops are amazing. Don't trash it just because you think you're hardcore for going against the grain.

How can anyone honestly think the single player campaign in Modern Warfare 2 was amazing? Spec-ops was the best thing about the game but even that was mediocre and glitchy. The first Call of Juarez was lousy..i was talking about Bound in Blood.

Game was and is an absolute blast..critics jumped on the bandwagon (still do) to bash it because it was in the can for 10 years..but the truth is it never got anywhere close to that kind of development on the 360 and they ended up in that whole court dispute with EPIC over the Unreal engine..

Another part of it was that it was fully co-op..an action RPG that pulled it off better than even Fable 2 did..critics never even bothered in co-op..

Best time I ever had dying 1000 deaths until From Software's Demon's Souls was released and was far more brutal..

The only real fault was watching the long cutscene after you die..and some of the bosses and levels were TOUGH...

This was one of those games that got bashed because it didn't sell..after 10 years

Look around the net and you'll see people just like me who loved the game from here to Gaf..bottomline..had it done Mass Effect numbers the trilogy would have continued..

I've since put many people onto the game who end up loving it..too bad it's a bargin bin title

But then again..Prey was another gem that went unnoticed too in the shadows of Gears and Halo

Bottomline..Too Human is not even close to being the worst game this generation..just another silly games list made by people who don't play the games

I don't think Way of the Samurai 3 should go on that list. It's a very niche series that if you don't understand where it's coming from you would pine it off as a very poor hack and slash.

The game was no doubt average in it's application, but you really can't expect much more from such a small studio.

Anyway. Decent article and unlike most I get the point of it. To me the biggest disappointment this gen would be having COD be the best selling game on a console. Would say a lot about the low quality of every game it outsold. I mean most gamers know not to support Activision so if it was the best selling game, that means that most the people that own it are casuals.

maybe i like it because i enjoyed the first one, and not much has changed since WOTS1 compared to WOTS3. the combat feels roughly the same, the tongue in cheek nature of the dialogue seems the same.

as for the visuals? *shurgs* they're pretty low on the totem pole, but it's not a horrible looking game.

there are way worse games out there than Too Human and Way of the Samurai 3.

where's Legendary: The Box? Turok? Blacksite: Area 51? Frontline: Fuels of War? Conflict: Denied Ops? those games fail at every level of game design, and aren't just flawed titles like Too Human and WOTS3.

there's a difference between a game that simply has flaws, and one that really just throws out common sense and standards in game design (like the 5 shooters i listed above).

a lot of the gaming media has really forgotten what a TRULY bad game is, and they only seem to throw games in two categories: AAA or crap. there is no mercy or in between this generation of gaming.

for example, Folklore, is not a AAA game, but it is also not crap. in my opinion, it's an amazing game with beautiful art and music design, and a fun, addictive game play mechanic and combat engine. the story is weird and very Japanese, but fun. if i were to give it a score, it'd be around an 8 or so. maybe half a point higher.

the gaming media would have you believe that this game fails on every level and is a bargain bin title you'll find at a thrift store. they are WRONG. that's not opinion, that's FACT. they are WRONG. the game succeeds in standard game play pillars like controls, visuals, level/game design, audio design, even if the execution isn't as polished as, say, Uncharted 2.

games like Legendary: The Box FAIL at controls, visuals, level/game design, and audio design, which is why it deserves poor scores.

now, subjective TASTE is what can be argued about Folklore. maybe you don't like the setting, or the story/characters, or the art design, but that doesn't mean that the game is poorly made, and deserving of low scores.

for example, i'm not a fan of Gears of War. i don't like the story, or the characters. outside of some control issues (ie, using the A button for cover and sprinting is problematic when you are trying to sprint and take cover, and are trying to take cover and sprint), the game is rock solid and fun.

even though i don't care for the game, if i was a reviewer, i'd score it pretty well. why? because it succeeds at game design. visuals, controls, level/game design, and audio design are extremely well done. i may not have particular affection for the narrative or characters, and even some of the art design (i don't like the beefy steroid junkies as characters, but the rest of the art design is sweet).

that's called being an objective reviewer, and not penalizing a game that clearly does game design tenets right, because you have a bone to pick with a particular platform holder.

i may not like the game, but i'd recommend Gears of War in a heartbeat to anyone who has recently picked up an Xbox 360 and want something graphically impressive and fun.

reviewers this generation have forgotten how to do that. if they don't love the game, then it's clear that nobody ELSE should love the game, and they should ignore it. it's more than just opinion in reviews these days. it's "my opinion is FACT. OBEY ME."

Haze shouldn't be on there because "worst" would indicate it was terrible, but it's not "terrible" just terribly generic, there's really no gameplay difference between it and, say, every other FPS released ever, it just lacks any real hook and the polish of "good" games.

I must say that the recent NowGamer stories are starting to annoy me. This list is terrible. Too Human is not that bad. Spider-Man 3 is not that bad. Way of the Samurai 3 is not that bad. Eat Lead is not that bad. I didn't care for Two Worlds, but even that game is not "Ten Worst" bad.

Where is Jumper: Griffin's Story? Where is Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust? Where is Shellshock 2? Balls of Fury? Ninjabread Man? Rock Revolution? ...I could go on. I know everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but this list seems to be more of a list by someone who avoids bad games and therefor their worst is actually not that bad, or it's just a terribly thought out list.

It pains me to say this I'll be honest ff13 it was good compared to most games but it was really a chore to play. exploring is my favorite part about ffs and 13 gameplay didn't save it for me. I couldn't move my main character around like ff12 which I loved in that game and the battle screens screamed retro to me.

Too Human shouldn't be on there. It wasn't that bad of a game, sure it had some problems but it was exactly what Silicon Knights were aiming to make, a hack'n'slash loot focused RPG. From what I have seen everyone who hated it expected something else because loot RPG fans seem to mostly like it.

Also, even though I do agree with Two Worlds being on that list it was such a shame it was so poorly made and put together. It actually had some great RPG elements that I find lacking in most these days :/

Too Human had a Normal Development cycle, Just ask Denis Dyack for crying out loud. Yes the ideas and concept for the game were there back in the PS days. Demos were shown from the PS days to CameCube days, but it was on the 360 that the game was in full production.
The game is not perfect, but I can see its sequels being even better than the first. RE2 anyone?

At e-p-ayeaH, no I don't like it and I played it.I really don't care too much about graphics, but I was expecting a good gameplay.I own both consoles(PS3,360) and if I can tell you a game that I bought and completly lost my money was on Halo 3:ODST,bad campaign with stupid storyline.
