Activision Rips Off Brutal Legend for Guitar Hero 6

Explicit Gamer: Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock has a new gameplay mode, and it sounds incredibly similar to a game Activision abandoned and then tried to sue.

Let them milk Guitar hero as much as they want. I actually support milking when it come to music games. Why? Just look at eBay. I bought all my GH games for less than 15 bucks new. These games tend to lose value quickly. Heck, just look at DjHero. It didn't come out too long ago, and now its already in the 30-50 dollars range new.

The more they milk the quicker their games lose value the cheaper it is for us gamers. So we win. On top of that, Activision still doesn't get my money. I never spent 60 bucks on GH game.

Um, WTF is this s#it? GH pretty much had this story deal since GH 3, so what are they ripping from BL again? I mean I read the article and the only thing I can see them saying is the story is being ripped but if you played and paid attention to GH 3's story then you know it was pretty much the same, just that this one has more involvement from the player.

Didnt brutal legend rip off guitar hero's gameply and art direction form GH3? I didnt hear anyone complaining back then about it. In fact this is the same recycled story we get in every GH game. Brutal legen is in fact, ripping off guitar hero. Stupid people angry at activision over MW2. The fact is infinity ward made a shity game and they did NOT deserve to get paid for it. Activision did the right thing. You really want a gaming company to be angry at? How about E3? Killing features on ps3 and trying to buy everything in gaming.

So you're saying that because MW2 was "crappy" Infinity Ward doesn't deserve to get paid for it? The fact is they delivered the goods with MW2 and the game sold a ton of copies. If you don't think that the employees that busted their asses creating the game deserve to get paid for it, then you need to go back to business 101 and learn how compensation works.

Last I heard, Guitar Hero III did not involve playing in an action-adventure environment similar to Zelda. Last I heard, Guitar Hero III did not have an actual plot that the entire game was based around. And finally, Guitar Hero III did not have RTS elements including commanding a personal army.

All I am saying is this story is wrong, that's all. Of course nobody got GH3 for the story but at least pay attention to it if you bothered to watch the cutscenes, that's all, if not just skip em, but to write up an article saying BL was ripped by GH is just wrong.

Of course, the GH and Activision haters will disagree with me but whatever.

Last I heard, E3 was a gaming CONVENTION where games and occasionally gaming related electronics are showcased and demoed, and not a gaming COMPANY that kills features on PS3 and tries to buy everything in gaming. So you just failed pretty damn hard.

Well I guess it's only proper that Gene Simmons (the Rock world's original sellout), narrates the asinine story of this god-awful game franchise.

thankfully I grew out of the guitar hero interest after the 2nd incarnation, and it looks like I got out of it at the right time, considering every one afterwards was a shitfest.
