Third-party PS3 motion controller cancelled

Video game peripheral developer and manufacturer Komodo has decided to pull the plug on its third-party motion controller for the PlayStation 3.

that,s got to be a good thing,that cheap ass controller maker thought they were on to a good thing.they soon backed off when they seen what tech was required to make the move .these suckers thought it was a wimote upgrade to make cheap then realized they couldn,t make it to sell at a profit.stick to the gen article these cheap ass controls are sh*t.

they're cheaper, but in the past they've disappointed me.

I can't stand MadCatz...
The best was probaly Logitech...I got this wireless PS2 controller from them, and it's still working just fine..but it also cost me about the price of the original controller itself.

This isn't really news to me...I prefer the original hardware anyway..

This is really not that big of a deal. Has Sony even finalized the product for launch? Nobody..... The Move knock of doesn't have the tracking ball on it, if they were trying to shunt that part of the feature into a Wii like sensor there is no possible way they could get it to work right. It is also possible these clowns have no actual work prints to build a knock off with, they probably tried to use a Wiimote for the obvious basis so they could get it out early. It would be like them trying to release a third party Natal in June as well, there is no possible way on gods green Earth they would succeed. I would venture that Sony and Microsoft as complex as they can to avoid knockoffs for some time, especially to keep them for being able to release an inferior prodcut early.

I remember someone making a Wiimote-esque controller for both the 360 and the PS3 as well. I think it was a different controller than this one. Did that get cancelled as well?

no wonder they cancelled it, too similar to the wiimote, it had nothing to do with how hard it is to make games work with it, they was afraid of Sony handing their arses to ninty, besides it would have got owned by ps move which is the most accurate and precise motion controller to date
