I didn't buy the collection because I already owned both GoW's; I've played Ico but never owned it and I never knew SotC was Ico 2, so I never played it.

Can't wait for these two beautiful games in HD!

Mainly because at $299 the PS3 is already selling like hotcakes.

Also, rumor is that Sony will be making profit with the newest revisions of the slims. They would like to keep it like that till the end of this generation.

That means the only times they will cut price from now on is when they can revise the PS3 enough to lower the price and still gain profit.

Or if their hand is forced by competitors... which is VERY unlikely.

I don't know too much about ICO but Shadow of Colossus will be great in a HD remake. I had the game for PS2 but I don't know, the graphics seems mediocre to me even though the game was epic.

I've still got my both my copies of Ico and SoTC, both mint condition with all the art cards and everything. I've always held on to them despite not even owning a PS2 anymore, and even when I coulda got £60 for them when I really needed the money. They are simply masterpieces of gaming and I couldn't bring myself to part from them.

I would definitely buy them again on bluray, I don't care if they tidy the graphics up just as long as the image is clearer. I hope this is true!

By the way, Ico was definitely the better game, IMO. So much more touching. That ending was heartbreaking...
