This is all very nice and fun, but deep inside we all miss those days when a console like the PlayStation and was only just out of gamers were allocated on arcade games in some arcade hall. You can bring back moments more or less, for the PlayStation Network now offers you a typical arcade game to: Afterburner climax. An arcade cabinet can give us, but the game is not doing a lot of nostalgic feelings controversy."
After Burner Climax launched on home consoles and PC back in 2010, and we've seen very little of the series since.
These remakes and remasters are must-haves in this next generation.
Gunstar Heroes was made by Treasure. I'm not sure if that IP actually belongs to Sega. If it does, the ONLY modern day developer that I think would do that game justice is Housemarque. Maybe Sega could collaborate with Sony to let them make a modern day Gunstar Heroes. I definitely think Shinobi and Afterburner need modern day remakes though.
I feel like there are stronger Sega IP's than some of the ones that were listed such as...
Vector Man
Comix Zone
Virtual On
Ranger X
Jet Set Radio
Landstalker
Eternal Champions
As hard as it was, the Shinobi remake that came out on PS2 was decent. But yes, a new remake would be great. Always loved that series.

i really enjoy this game. no frills, no having to have a pilots license to fly. just a fast paced balls to the wall arcade shooter. I especially like the ability to swap out the new music with that of the original after burner.
I would love to see the same type of arcade remakes for thunder blade and galaxy force.
I like it, thats matters most to me.
