i have a mate that works in Gamestop and he staff loans these types of games just to boost his trophies, he has 40 platinum trophies so far.

and yes he did platinum Hannah Montana which i made fun of for six months afterward

People that collect trophies in games like Hanna Montana are bunch of losers. I dont consider those ppl to be gamers. I have 3 platinums. Batman, Infamous, Ratchet ACIT. I enjoyed those games and that is why i colleceted platinum in them. At some point i would also like to complete AC2 around 85%, Uncharted 2, GOW3 and few others that i like but dont have time atm.
For example i tried to play Overlord 2, game sucked and i stopped playing it. COD5 WAW i only play Zombie mode sometimes, zero trophies in that one.

I've platinumed games I enjoyed the most like GTA4 both Uncharted and Killzone. Most games I finish with 60-70% done.

I pity people to platinum games like HM, sad.

Im working on GTA4 at the moment, enjoying that game quiet a bit, but don't think I'll maintain interest once, i get my logitech DFGT, i ll be playing GT5p too much ^^ shame theres not any trophies in that game :P

pretty sure MS had achievements a good year before ps3... a lot of early ps3 games dont even have trophies, and all xbox games have had them from the beginning.

on topic: Heavy Rain was a a really easy platinum. its the only one i have.

I will probably try for GoW III, and maybe go back to try GoW and GoW II. Funny story, I was only 300 red orbs from getting the "upgrade all weapons and magic" trophy in GoW.

I only go for the platinum if I am still enjoying the game enough to make the effort. I played Uncharted 2 three more times AFTER getting the Platinum.

to spend even a minute playing a game you're not into just to get trophies. In fact, I'd be ashamed to have a Hannah Montanna platinum on my trophy card. Sorta makes you look like a tool in my opinion.

I'd be embarrassed to have these trophies. Since trophies are worth f-all on PSN, it's about bragging rights - and there's no way in hell I'm going to brag about getting Platinum on a Hasbro game (or, God help us, Hannah Montana).

I only have a single platinum trophy, but it's for Dead Space; a game I can actually be proud to have fully completed.

To me on my list the easiest to get was Dante's Inferno and the hardest to get was Demon's Souls. Probably the hardest platinum that I know of is Warhawk. It takes forever to get a platinum from Warhawk. Maybe if they had trophies out when it launched I would of got the platinum but they released the trophy patch well after I was done playing that game. I've logged over 180 hours in. :(

Im never impressed by a platinum trophy.. Im more impressed with which game they got it in..

I have someone on my friends list who got one in Dead Space. Was really impressed by that.

Well maybe its just me but I thought Dead Space was a hard game, I really struggelled my way through on normal and the final boss was a big pain.

Also some of the trophies like beating the game using only the plasma cutter etc... Ouchie.

Saw my friend playing Cloudy with a chance of meatballs, just raised my eyebrows as I watched him play that :P. Hannah Montana...No...Dynasty Warriors 6 I platinumed that, but it sure took a while 150 hours or something.

Need to rent Last Rebellion anyway I suppose I could platinum that.

Actually, the one trophy that gives me fits on RE5 was the Lead Aspirin one. It's the "Defeat a Majini with a headshot while it's jumping" one.

I never could get that one for whatever reason (other than I suck, haha).

I agree, that one is a b!tch, but I think I know the best level for it

just do Shipwreck Mercenaries, there's a lot of jumping parts there, just keep jumping + turning back and shooting and hope to get lucky

I don't have any platinum trophies yet but one which looks easy is Saw. I also think Infamous looks easy too.
I am getting there in those two games, Saw you could plat in one play through easily and Infamous I am over 60% on first playthrough and It looks easy to plat with one more go.

Infamous isn't 'difficult' to obtain, it's just time consuming gathering all the shards (the last few took me quite awhile), and some of the stunts can be a PITA.

I recommend doing the stunt master trophy on your good play-through, if you haven't gotten it already. It's much easier to do some of the stunts while good.

I could care less about trophies and scores and will not go out of my way to achieve them in any game. I played and beat MGS4 three times the month it came out; I just could not put it down it was that good to me and all the while with zero trophy support so there was no incentive to play it that much other then pure enjoyment of a GOOD game.

Yeah thats a tough one, I was happy just getting the Zico trophy lol. I'm probably most proud of MK vs. DC, but Bayonetta and Skate 2 were pretty tough too. FF13 also took awhile.

Burnout Paradise is pretty easy to get. It was the first one I got. ACII is pretty easy too. I had 92% when I finished it. I think all I was missing was the feathers and one for throwing sand in 5 guard's faces.

It was the easiest game next to Uncharted 1 and 2 to get the platinum.
Considering you get a trophy for putting stickers down. xDDD
What exactly is the hard part of getting the platinum for it?
I also aced all the mini levels.
Including that one where you have to jump across the gaps onto the very narrow platforms, which wasn't even necessary for the trophy. xD
