Playstation Move: It'll Move You

What makes the Playstation Move have the potential to be a lot more than a gimmick, is that they are not (they'ren't?) just making it for casuals, they are making it for hardcore gamers and casual gamers alike. Its precision allows you to do things that just wouldn't work well with the Wii, like online gaming or hardcore games like Socom 4, while still being able to have fun with not so serious games. It's taking motion controls to a whole new level.

that's one thing that the wiimote can be used for shooting games.

but there is other things that can be done with move that can't be done with the wiimote but shooting is not one of them.

Forbidden_Darkness5132d ago

Have you ever played a shooter on the wii? Its not really that fun and games like shooters dont sell well on the Wii compared to the PS3.

The Wii doesn't have that precision to play a game like socom anyways, not to its full extent, and the Wii's online is horrible at best.

Sunny_D5131d ago

Oh yeah baby, you know I like to move ;)

HaloReachGOTY5132d ago

I have nothing against the ps3 (Move) i think it's great to have a HD wii. Then again i'm more looking forward to Natal which is light years more Advanced and will revolutionize the way we play games.

Forbidden_Darkness5132d ago

Dont you mean Eye Toy Plus? How is it so advanced compared to the PS Move? I havent even seen anything besides smoke and mirrors for Natal thus far.

mrv3215132d ago

Your also looking forward to Reach so HD must not be your thing...

It's nice having an eyetoy for $100,

It will revolutionize video games IT REMOVED BUTTONS. I've seen more advanced NES controllers seriously... Buttons are a proven fact to be useful.

But hey look at me pointing out facts, like the fact that the burnout demo didn't even have analogue controls BRILLIANT.... it'll revolutionize games in a way we've not seen yet... it'll take them back a few generations. Light years more advanced? Than what the colossus, because I saw similar tech on the PS2.

Sunny_D5131d ago

Meh, somebody show that eyetoy video from 2002 or 2004 that showed the same light year features that Natal is supposedly showing.

zootang5131d ago (Edited 5131d ago )

The funny thing is Sony and Nintendo have both stated they could have gone with the Natal tech but chose not to. All MS have shown has been smoke and mirrors.

I got conned into buying a HD-DVD drive and 2 xboxs. What's that saying.... Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me

EKWB reportedly plagued with financial disarray many gaming pc's left without parts

EK Cooling allegedly has slipped itself into a hot soup of seemingly endless financial woes, where it has not paid its staff, suppliers, and contractors for many months as the company is facing liquidity problems and a surplus of inventory left unsold, stuck in the warehouse for a more extended period. Gamers Nexus investigated these claims made by former and current personnel, where he found trails of unpaid bills lasting as long as three to four months and unpaid raises that accumulated for almost a year.

EK Water Blocks has two entities—a Slovenian-based headquarters and a US-based subsidiary, EK Cooling Solutions. Steve narrated the series of events in detail, stating that the company was reportedly irresponsible and negligent regarding payment. Consequently, partners and employees are forced to share the burden of alleged mismanagement. It all begins with its extensive range of products, leading to a surplus of goods. EK has over 230 water blocks, 40 liquid cooling kits, 85 reservoirs, 40 pumps, 73 radiators, and 212 miscellaneous accessories.

Yes this is not about video games directly but indirectly this will impact the pc gaming/workstation space hard.

This company is massive one of two in the water cool space so if it goes poof then thousands out there have no spare parts or half built computers.

SO yeah i know not about a video game but think of it as amd leaving the pc space but this is ekwb that could be leaving water cooling in the pc space

Jayz2cents a supporter of there products also has issues

As someone that has built a watercooling rig. EK is big, but there's so many numerous watercooling part companies out there. EK's stuff isn't exactly amazing quality for the price compared to others either, it's just ok. Much like Corsair. The impact would be negligible long term. For perspective the majority of my parts are XSPC, at most I use EK for my gpu waterblocks and fittings. Both easily replaceable.

El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron - Coming Back for a New Generation

Originally launched in 2011, El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron is coming to Nintendo Switch, so It's time to look back at the original.

jznrpg22h ago

Still have my ps3 copies. Bought it at launch and another one when I found it cheap and in perfect condition about 10 years ago. I wouldn’t buy it on Switch but if they made a PS5 version I would. I still have one of my PS3 Fats hooked up so good to go either way.

darthv7222h ago

Id play it again on the switch. I wished my 360 version was bc but this is still a good way to play.
