The Lost Gamer writes "Peter Molyneux has discussed the future of the gaming industry, during which he reveals that he believes that the next few years will bring new titles that will change our whole perception of what a game is, as the name no longer depicts what developers are currently aiming to achieve any more."
The Xbox 360 was a fantastic console in its day with some truly classic titles, but what are the seven best games for the console?
I'll go with,
Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Culdcept Saga, Shadow Complex, Ace Combat 6 with the flight stick,A Kingdom for Keflings, A World of Keflings.
Bonus Kinect Games: Happy Action Theater and Sesame Street.
*Skyrim was so bad on PS3 that it almost deserves to be #1*
Was this made by a.i.? No human being would put Shadowrun, Fable III, and Splinter Cell: Conviction into a list of the 7 best Xbox 360 games.
Would love to play Ace Combat6 on PlayStation, but Xbox decided to buy exclusivity and keep it off a competing platform.
The only mainline game I never played except for one level at a friends place. Game sold less than any other in the series if I remember correctly.
When the current gen XBOX offering is so lacking people need to refer to games released two generations back....
Baldur's Gate 3 producer Ryan Clark, who worked at Larian Studios for four years, has joined Fable developer Playground Games
Xbox is definitely the house of RPGs and it´s getting bigger and better by the day!
Fable will be fantastic!
Still waiting to see what kind of game fable will be. Hope it has gargoyles...probably not.
Hope you can pick between male or female and choose something else to distinguish yourself during character creation.
Super excited for this and perfect dark...excited to see what they make that is. Don't have any high hopes but maybe MS can prove me wrong. Playground has been their studio for a long time and the initiative is their only new studio
This is a good get as Baldur's Gate 3 is highly regarded.
But this has to be a hire for their next game right? Why would Fable need a producer now?
Can't wait to see what their '10 year plan' is for Fable.....just like Halo and now Forza. I'm curious to see just how badly they fuck this up with online focused, drip fed content, design and gameplay. Because I know it's going to be nothing like the previous games and anyone expecting that is in for a nasty surprise.
Fable II launched back in 2008 and remains the best the series has offered. Ahead of the series comeback, it's time to look at the classic.
Loved this game, oh and i always saved my dog at the end, hope the new Fable has a animal companion.
Fable 2 was the best inthe series. Peter waaaaaaay over promised with fable 1 and it was good but disappointing. He didn't go crazy eith hype for the second game and it was surprisingly awesome. Then he ran his mouth promoting 3 and it was the worst of the 3.
I only got to play it once 😩 I'm so tempted to buy a Xbox 360 slim but planning on getting the series x soon since I got a PS5 in February Im ready to get saints row 1&2 back, GTA 4, fable 2, but I also want to play infamous 1&2 again Sony screwed us over with the stream only for saints row 2 and other gems smh
I guess the term "game" does make video games seem a little too playful - especially when related to cinematic titles such as God of War 3, Heavy Rain or Uncharted 2.
The truth comes out. I already knew it but it's funny to see someone say it. These companies don't want to make games any more they want to make movies, books, plays, science experiments.
The only company that still makes games is nintendo. When toys stores no longer carry game console it will be a sad day for gaming and a joyous day for interactive movies.
:D
Video games are becoming much more than just games. They are interactive experiences. I'm sure if anyone can come up with a new catchy title for video games, Molyneux can do it. I'm interested to see if the industry will pick up on this idea.
