Motion controller for PlayStation 3 to become available worldwide in Autumn 2010.
A quick look at the PlayStation VR Move motion controller tracking improvement included in the PlayStation 4 System Software Update 4.50.
Yup. I noticed while playing sports bar VR. Normally I might get some movement from the moves and sometimes it makes me accidentally hit the ball with the pool stick.
After the update, it seemed to know where my hands were. Still won't fix the tracking in games like lethal. Because I'm turned around and the camera can't see me because my body is in the way forcing me to use my other hand or try and stand out of the way to shoot. That's more the developer's fault in not designing for 180 when they ported the game from PC VR when the game was 360 degrees in view. Also noticed that I can bring the move up to my face without it going crazy trying to figure out which light to track.
Much better though.Keep improving Sony. Makes VR just that much better and more fun.
This is great news. I have had terrible luck with the tracking of the move controllers.
It seems it was long time ago. A bunch of friends spending hours on end playing RPG games, sitting around the table with the box of cold pizza. Excited about the story, listening to the Game Master, they were completely engaged in the worlds only visible to them and their imaginations.
The GM is the programmer, and in MMOs and co-ops, you can play with others. If you want to ONLY use your imagination for the visuals, read a book.
Scrawl: "Looks like we know how that new Compile Heart countdown is going to end. The latest issue of Famitsu has confirmed that Agarest Senki 2, known as Record of Agarest War 2 in the US, is Compile Heart’s newest title."
1) Hope they put it on disc this time.
2) Hope this is a positive for Neptune coming over as well.
Is this a half decent SRPG, porn aside, cause if it is, i might just decide to go and buy it for the 360.
i honestly expected this to happen. that controller to me was still not finished. if there's no analog stick on it, then it will fail.
i guess it will be "arc" vs. "Natal" this Fall.
EDIT: another thing sony has to do is get the Developer support that MS is getting with Natal. dont you guys agree?
darn it, now gotta wait till autumn to play resident evil 5 with motion controllers, meh guess i'll just buy resi 5 now and play with standard crappy controls
Edit: I was being a bit bitter.
I see the author has went back an added the written article after I called him out on it.
That's not how it works. That is underhanded. You are supposed to be submitting a FULL story not submitting and then go back and write later.
Shame on the folks who approved this article.
But I’m still excited for the motion controllers that at the very least will work right. Compared to..... well, you know.
I can't wait for this thing!
