Globe and Mail game reporter Chad Sapieha writes in his review of Demon's Souls:
"I'd been playing the game for over two hours when I realized that I hadn't made any progress at all. Literally. If I were to switch of the console at that moment and just walk away, then come back to the game again some other time, it would have been as though the hours I'd just spent with it had never happened.
Welcome to Demon's Souls, a new PlayStation 3 exclusive from From Software that has seemingly come out of nowhere to earn critical raves (it's tracking at over 90 per cent on metacritic), with websites like IGN dubbing it "quite simply one of the best on the PlayStation 3" while implying that it is also the hardest game yet released for Sony's machine--or any current generation system, for that matter.
The funny thing is that it's critical raves are nothing if not counter-intuitive--and not just because it's exasperatingly punishing."
You might not be able to believe this, but Dark Souls is a pretty tricky game on the PlayStation 3.
There's no better way to enjoy your PS5 than with friends, so here's our picks of the best co-op games on the console.
There's a plethora of visually impressive games on the PS5, and here are 15 games that best showcase the graphical capabilities of the console.
Sony always sets the bar graphically every generation. There is no denying that
Surprised Plague Tale Requiem isn't on here. Probably in my top 3 best looking games I've ever played
Elden Ring in a list of the best looking games? Not by a long shot. A game with a PS3 era graphics engine is never going to look good in today's standards no matter how good the art direction is.
That's right..

The more reviews I read the more, the less interested in the game I become.
While the graphics look very impressive and the combat looks fun. I don't think I could get pass the lack of story that most reviews have mentioned. As storyline is king when it comes to RPGS.
I do feel the game deserves a chance, so I'll be giving it a rent at somepoint in October. Then I'll make a decision if I'll buy it or not.
Its a good old medieval game with demons, souls, dragons, some huge monsters and colossuses. It's similar to Donkey Kong. Why is a gorilla called Donkey Kong throwing barrels at a small plumber trying to rescue a princess? Who cares if it is has a story, it's hard as hell and fun as hell. (PS I may have mixed some of that up but I think it's right)
