New Rumble SIXAXIS bundled with 80GB PS3's?

Look closely at the 80GB model image and you notice that the "PS Button" is glowing red. Could this be the new rumble SIXAXIS?

I feel gutted. I wasted my £425 on the PS3 with and then they release a version with 20 gig more and rumble controllers.

I think the 80GB is barely worth if they include the SIXAXIS rumble. 20GB worth of storage doesnt really cost that much and Motorstorm tops is only worth $60.

If they include the new rumble controllers and perhaps announce at E3 the PS Eye would come bundled too, then I would definitely buy it.

Or they should look at adding a headset to the deal. Not everyone will buy Warhawk (eventhough they should).

No that's not a rumble six axis controller. It's an added effect, i believe.

i dont know what the red light is but on the news here in New Zealand it showed one of our kiwi rugby players playing his new game on the ps3 and i noticed his controller had the red light on the home button....
will be interesting to see what it is but its definatly real because ive seen it!

If the sixaxis look exactly the same as the ones we currently have without rumble, then you will need to be able to tell which one has rumble and which one doesn't just by looking at them with the power off (before picking them up). So it's likely just colored plastic, not backlit.

This one didn't make any sense to me either. MotorStorm + 20 extra gigs is not worth 100 dollars. The pricing for 20 gigs is dirt cheap right now.... i actually have 5 ways to make this deal worth it or much sweeter.

1. Add HDMI cord
2. Add some sort of coupon for any 2(or more) bluray movies free
3. Add bluetooth head set along with another controller
4. have a (or 2) rumble six axis controller.
5. give 30-50 dollars worth of PSN virtual money

I already have a 60gig PS3 but if sony did include one of those options in the new 80gig+Motor Storm deal then i'd get it.

EDIT:: wait... my bad apparently theres already a deal where if you get a PS3 (or bluray player) now till september you actaully get FIVE bluray movies, so scratch number 2 from the list..... go figure, all i got was a free controller with mine. X_X"

With rumble controllers, this will make this deal more sensible than just 20gb and a game. Hopefully, it is rumble sixaxis. Either way, I'm still getting rumble controllers for MGS4.

haha i totally guessed that one before i even saw the red ps button. New ps ships wit rumble controller automatically makes the 80GB a little more valuable if you care about rumble. Instead of buying the 60Gb then having to buy another game then another rumble controller when it hits. I on the other hand am just happy they got in rumble

The only real difference between the 60gb and the 80gb is more memory that's it and besides didn't Sony tell you you can switch the hard drive from any of the systems
for example:
You can upgrade the 20gb hard drive to a 60gb just opening up the hard drive slot so don't waste the extra money even though that there was a price drop.

I bought a 120GB HD a few weeks after launch for 87$ off Newegg.com I think it was samsung. The manual shows you step by step how to install it and remove the old one. Simple procedure. I also used a 2GB flashdrive to back up all my data, games etc. that I didn't want to use.

It's just either an old picture or a dev kit controller. Those have always had red glowing PS buttons. How can someone not know that by now?

The red button effect is nothing new. Even the old PS3 adds had the button glowing red. I even thought that my controller was defected at first because it didn't glow red. But it was just an advertising effect. So no this doesn't mean that the controllers will have rumble.

I do think the controllers will change for PS3, and they will add rumble. If the light glows red, that would me it even cooler. But I don't think they will come with the 80GB bundle already.
