While talking to Level 5 about the studio's next big role-playing game for the U.S., White Knight Chronicles, I inquired about the status of an old favorite, the Dark Cloud RPG series.
"At this moment we don't have a specific plan for a sequel in the Dark Cloud series," Level 5's Yoshiaki Kusuda told me at the Tokyo Game Show last week.
"There are many staff members, including myself at Level 5, who have worked on the Dark Cloud series," he told me through a translator. "There are some who decided to join Level 5 because they love the Dark Cloud series. So, if requests from users should increase in the future, we would seriously consider making it."

I think Killzone 3's wasp deserves top of the list.
that weapon is insane.
Same for Dead Space 3 Devil's Horns.
Definitely Mass Effect for me. I have it 20 hours and was bored to death and gave up; just couldn’t anymore. It’s sad because I played the original trilogy 3 times from beginning to end.
Mike Nitroy from Gamespresso's most anticipated game of the year, Dark Cloud 3, might not even exist... Is this a game you've been hoping for some sort of reveal too?
Were do I ask for it?
I want a Dark Cloud sequel. I loved the first one.
*Raises hand*
HERE! HERE! WANT! WANT!
I'd buy Dark Cloud 1+2 remakes a la God Of War if needed. Anyways, LEVEL 5 I want Dark Cloud 3.
the problem with this game is it's too tame.. the relaxing music of the fishing mini-game comes to mind.
