3 Things We Want PSN To Adopt From Home

HBM:

"Say what you want about PlayStation Home, but the fact that it is capable of doing things unique in itself is great. For the average PlayStation 3 gamer who isn't the type to frequently visit PlayStation Home, they probably aren't aware that Home does things right now that our PlayStation Network doesn't and while we know that the capabilities for PSN are still growing and making fantastic strides (Go Go, 3.0!), there are just a couple of tiny features that Home can do but aren't yet present on PSN..."

I agree. These are great points!

i like those, sony should intergrade them into PSN. Game launching would be sweet, and useful to have even out of HOME.

Isn't game launching like cross game invite?

i havn't been in HOME for a while and can't see if this is in there till tuesday but can't you stream movie in your home yet? That would be another nice feature to have in PSN, video share/messaging and ability to send music.

Kinda. It's not your own content yet, but they have a big Theater in the North American Home that displays shows like Criss Angel: Mindfreak, The Soup and a bunch of other things.

Chubear5343d ago

Kinda but though you can invite people that aren't on your friend's list, it's an application where you still have to be in HOME.... thanks to EA! .. ok ok I said I'd let it go so I will.. for now :)

-17 year olds who dress like special needs 5th graders and try to get phone numbers from girls in the courtyard

-Constant, poorly spelled, text-based communication

-Clinically depressed attention whores who bum around trying to get people to feel sorry for them/tell them they're not ugly

I deleted home from my hard drive for the same reason I never go to malls: it's full of self-important teenagers blasting their myspace URLS all over anyone close enough to read the text.

BRING OVER HOME TO THE XMB

Typical-Guy5343d ago

Not all " HOME " just bring my own personal space.

I as well as many other PlayStation 3 and PsP gamers look forward to years upon years of enjoyment and entertainment from the best Online Gaming and Entertainment Network in existence.

Tales Of Graces Ƒ Retro Review – Holding Out For a Hero

Gary Green said: Namco Bandai heard the call of many fans asking for the PlayStation release of Tales of Graces which was originally released seemingly exclusively for the Wii back in 2009. If you’re acquainted with the Tales series then Graces f won’t be something entirely new to you, yet if you’re a newcomer then you’ll find a plethora of gameplay mechanics and nuances that distinguish this series from other JRPGs. While the game finds itself following the traditional archetype of JRPGs, such as a somewhat clichéd story, Graces has something to offer to both veterans and newcomers alike.

It's A Crime That There's No Sleeping Dogs 2 Yet

Huzaifah from eXputer: "Sleeping Dogs from the early 2010s is one of the best open-world games out there but in dire need of a resurgence."

LG_Fox_Brazil1d 7h ago

I agree, I consider the first one a cult classic already

isarai1d 2h ago

You say "yet" as if it's even possible anymore. United Front Games is gone, along with anyone that made this game what it is

CrimsonWing6912h ago

That’s what happens when games sell poorly. And I’ve seen people wonder why people cry when a game sells badly… this is your answer.

solideagle11h ago

Majority of the time it's true but if a company/publisher is big (in terms of money), they can take a hit or 2. e.g. I am not worried about Rebirth sales as Square will make Remake 3 anyway but if FF 17 doesn't sell then Square might need to look for alternative. <-- my humble opinion

Abnor_Mal11h ago

Doesn’t Microsoft own the IP now since they acquired Activision?

Abnor_Mal7h ago

Oh okay, Activision owned True Crime, but when that didn’t sell as intended it was canceled. Six months later Square Enix bought the rights and changed the title to Sleeping Dogs.*

*As per Wikipedia

Sleeping Dogs was a sleeper hit back then. It was fantastic. It actually still is. Would love a sequel to this, or at least a revive of True Crime series.
