Koku Gamer writes: "Love them or hate them, you can't deny that Nintendo has brought the some of the most loved and greatest franchises to our comfortable living rooms. With stars like Mario, Zelda, and Metroid all in their roster you can't help but applaud them for these games. But what about the developers that actually made these games? I like these top ten things. Makes me think who I would put on the list.

I like the Pokemon handheld games so im glad that the developer was so high on the list.

Edit: Just read the article. Its pretty well writen for a game site article. Kokugamer.com, im going to have to visit more. Can't wait for the Microsoft and Sony articles he said he was going to make. I wonder who will be number one for Sony and Microsoft.

You really do have to give props to #1 and #2 on that list. They have created some truly remarkable games, especially on the sales front. Looking at some of the games they created reminded me how old I really am.....

Completely agree. True driving forces for Nintendo.

It seems as if the only party that get's Nintendo software sales is the first party as you mention in the article. Metroid Prime, SuperSmash Brawl as well as Pokemon, those sell millions of copies and Mario as well, if it wasn't for those or the internal studio to develop them, I'm not sure how this system would do software sales wise. Unlike the PS3 and Xbox 360 the Wii does not have too many big hitter besides the three obvious. Mario, Zelda and Pokemon.

Million selling third parties:

Resident Evil 4 (last I checked outsold Metroid)
Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles
Call of Duty 3
Call of Duty World at War
House of the Dead 2 and 3 Return
Red Steel
Guitar Hero III
Guitar Hero World Tour
Deca Sports
MySims
Tiger Woods 08/09 Titles
Lego Star Wars (also top 360 seller before I get any smart ass cracks)
Lego Indiana Jokes
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

I left out the embarassing mini-games and kid titles. There were a few of em. This was an arbitrary cutoff and naturally as you get just under the million mark there are a lot more games represented.

There should have been at least one Mick Gordon Killer Instinct theme on here.

Should be some tunes from the first Mortal Kombat in any list tbh.

I really like the use of Mozart’s Dies Irae in Wolfgang Krausers stage in Fatal Fury 2.

Volcanic rim for Street Fighter 4 is probably my favorite stage theme
