IGN writes: "It's been four full years since the introduction of the Nintendo DS. This dual-screen, touch-screen handheld was a system first received with skepticism when it launched in the US in November of 2004. Over time, it began to prove itself. The dual-screened handheld that had everyone, gamers and developers alike, scratching their heads has become the most popular and most purchased piece of video game hardware.
But it's not on the strength of the hardware alone. The reason why Nintendo's DS has enjoyed its success is that it's been a system supported by strong software. Games that have taken advantage of the opportunity presented by its unique capabilities -- its two screens, touch sensitivity, Wi-Fi connectivity and more -- and turned that potential into real, compelling gameplay. Games that we now seek to recognize".
The new Nintendo-focused emulator for the iPhone is now available with support for several classic systems.
Won't belong before Nintendo bangs on Apple's door to have the emu removed. Like I say you take down one six more take it's place. Problem is people are putting emu's on such stupid platforms. The good emus are the ones not on stupid platforms like a red target. The good emu's are word of mouth and keep a low profile.
One of the most beloved entries in Square Enix’s long-running franchise is celebrating its 30th anniversary and that’s cause for celebration!
This arguably is my best game of all time out of the 40yrs I’ve been playing videogames

On Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PC, Farewell North works as an open world exploration adventure in which you get the chance to be a good doggo
Meh, not a very good list IMO. There was few games that got the mentions they deserved but the fact that they had Tactics A2 instead of another, superior Square Enix game(of which there are many) is something I disagree with. It's a really good game but they've got a lot of much better games on there.
This'll be very useful. Just picked myself up a secondhand DS Lite today.
Seems like a fair list, but to me, it's just more proof that the PSP's library is the more fitting handheld library for my tastes. Not a whole lot of games that are up my alley on there.
I wouldn't go with Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow as the Castevania choice. Because it was first on the DS isn't a good reason. Definitely Order of Ecclesia is much better. Dawn of Sorrow's artwork isn't as faithful to the Castlevania series as Ecclesia is. Ecclesia is like a female version of Alucard in Symphony of the Night. You can also shapeshift. A much better pick! Enjoyed it much better and drops the stylus gimmick.
there are TOO many puzzle games on this list ...
also sonic rush adventure is WAYYYY better than the first sonic rush game ..
