Everyone has preferences but certain performances cut across everything. I wouldn't approve an article on this subject that doesn't list one person from the Soul Reaver series. Likely the single best collection of V.O. performances ever.

I agree with Morganfell, despite i'm french, i finished Defiance in french, english, german and italian (or was it spanish?), and in each version, Raziel and Kain had great dubs. Eidos made sweet choices with that.

It's hard to hear Nolan North in his other games after Uncharted. I keep thinking Nathan Drake! It's amazing how he's has become so associated with that character, especially considering how many other characters he's voiced.

That's true, but I think his voice and personality were well-suited for the new Prince of Persia. That game had some really great dialogue and Nolan's voice was perfect for the part. Rhianna Pratchett was responsible for a lot of that dialogue, if I'm not mistaken. She rocks.

No Steven Blum equals fail. Blum not only does voices for over 127 games, including Uncharted, Gears of war, Halo, God of War, all the Socoms, most of the Ape Escapes and many MANY more. He has been in over 70 anime, making familiar voices such as Spike from Cowboy Bebop, Mugen from Samurai Champloo, Roger Smith from Big O, Orochimaru and Zabuza from Naruto, and many street fighter characters' voices. And YOU ALL remember TOM from the toonami block. Steve made his voice as well. Look him up on Wikipedia and ask yourself why he isn't on this list.

You can tell he has fun doing the voice, and he's entertaining to list to but man his delivery is not natural or believable in anyway, although the writing doesn't help at all.

There's been a few awesome GTA characters over the years (James Woods, Samuel L Jackson, RAY LIOTTA!)

Nolan north the man behind Nathan drake he made nathan drake a icon for ps3 owners + he is a funny guy. David hayter ahh the legend if i could do snakes voice i could die a happy man that first line in the first metal gear sold me it was intense. Dont think halo voice actor should be on the list tho there are many others who do better work.

I disagree with the Honorable Mention of Kiefer Sutherland, i think his voice acting in COD5 was annoying and got me out of the whole setting of WW2 and to 24, evrey time he talks i expect the phones to ring.
