Max Payne 3 Release Date is Official

I question this games viability. Late november releases are traditionally reserved for less-than stellar titles that can't compete w/ the heavy contenders of the holiday season.

For a game that is this close to release, we know virtually nothing about it. The signs are not looking to good on this one.

Is it just me or is this just crazy? This is twice in as many days that Play.com has been questioned on validity of release dates they have and twice that they've said the same thing (I wouldn't expect them to say they're wrong). I don't believe this stuff from them, but let's give them the benefit of the doubt and say it is true. Then in that case I ask one thing: Why in the world are all these developers (Rockstar/Polyphony) contacting Play.com of all places, yet telling NOONE else? Just doesn't seem likely.

Seeing as how Max Payne 3 will flop. It's made by the same team that made Bully (which was terrible IMO). Then again, the 360 has no games this year so I guess the only thing left to do is hype multiplatform games no matter how bad they are. A dog turd with sprinkles is still a dog turd but go ahead & eat it if you want.

Article says they confirmed it was the 30th then goes on to say Mark your calenders for the 20th. 30th is a Monday, games in the UK always come out on Fridays. Play.com are just guessing, as with GT5.

Oh, god. When will these idiots learn that Play.com isn't an official source. Even if they say its true it doesn't mean theyre right.

Remember that GT5 release date? They said that was official too and it's obviously not.
