It's been a long time coming. So much, in fact, that many had given up hope of ever seeing this fantastic role-playing series again. But E3 is the time when even the wildest of dreams can, and in this case, do come true. Announcing the third installment of Golden Sun was on the way during their conference, Nintendo showed that Camelot are ready to jump back into this fantasy world again for the DS.
Alex DS. from Link Cable Gaming writes: "The franchise celebrated its 20th anniversary yesterday without a peep from Nintendo and that’s a real shame because despite only being three games deep, this is one of the best-received RPG series out there. In short, it’s time for a new Golden Sun."
Yea good luck. Put this in the pile with f-zero, kid Icarus, wario land, etc. and label it the "wt are you waiting for" pile
Screen Rant Writes: The Nintendo Switch has seen record success for the company, and to keep the momentum going Nintendo needs to dig a little deeper in its catalog.
Golden Sun is a fantastic series. They should really continue it.
To say I miss Advanced Wars would be an understatement. Two of my top favorite series of the GBA.
I'd love to see a return of StarTropics. I don't think it will happen, but I'd welcome it.
Agreed. They have a deep catalog of dormant IPs that they could reinvent for the Switch.
Where the hell is Golden Sun? It's been 10 years. All Camelot's been doing are Mario sports games.
Over the decades, countless incredible franchises have graced Nintendo consoles, some of which have been neglected.
Banjo-Kazooie isn't a Nintendo franchise anymore
Conker was never a Nintendo, especially since non of its game were even published by Nintendo
im so excited for this one
but still though i miss issac Dx
I stopped caring about this and my DS a long time ago.

Looks really good to me! I missed out first time round and my mate gets at me constantly cos he loves the games. How come the handhelds are getting so much jrpg love?
I realise this was a GBA series originally but, seriously, FF3, Crisis Core, FF Tactics, SO1 and 2, TWEWY, Dissidia, KH, Persona remakes-I could go on literally all night listing the games for PSP/DS/DSi for the last few and next couple of years! Loads of SE games in there as well so it's not that difficult to see why PS3 only gamers have a problem with the lack of SE/jrpg love they get!
Anyhow it's great to catch up with a few I didn't play on release when they first came out as well as the fresh games(is The Third Birthday canned though? not a real rpg but y'know what I mean)and great to catch up on them on the train/bus otherwise I'd never do it.
It suits me then but why do fans who already played the games want to go over a story they know? Can there be that many people who missed out that still care? If so is that why a new, clever and well done gme like TWEWY got so badly passed over at retail? It puzzles me no end!
