This Ugly Device Will Automatically Switch Your Consoles Off

Once was a day parents had to do their jobs, and manually enforce the amount of time a kid spent playing on a console. Now, all they need is the GameDr. .....

Oh boy, times like this I'm glad this wasn't around as I was growing up; and glad now that I am old enough to be able to monitor my own amount of play time.

"I was a nice kid, but if something like that had killed my Final Fantasy VII game, there would have been blood."

You and me both...would have hated to get far in an RPG hear the 10-minute mark and scramble to try and find a save point..

This must be one horrible invention for gamers xD, I mean the idea behind it...works you know...But when parents need this, its just sad.

Making kids understand why they shouldn't play so much also brings dicipline and value to the table.
But by hearing it from the parents, not a lame switch off.

And like you said, i would be frustrated if i never reached a save point...
I would never do this to youngsters

My bro used to lie to my dad though and stay up playing the games till like 3 in the morning saying he needed to find a save point. Even in games where you can save on the world map. Wow that's a long time ago now.

Hehe, I would kill someone if they deleted one of my files too but I've done it to myself by mistake several times.

Still have my ps3 copies. Bought it at launch and another one when I found it cheap and in perfect condition about 10 years ago. I wouldn’t buy it on Switch but if they made a PS5 version I would. I still have one of my PS3 Fats hooked up so good to go either way.

Id play it again on the switch. I wished my 360 version was bc but this is still a good way to play.

Fallout 3's Reveal Led To Death Threats And Bethesda's First Security Guard

The artist behind Fallout 4’s Deathclaw reveals just how bad things got back when Bethesda took over the series

anast8h ago

People are stupid I get it. No one should feel unsafe,

But I think they need to talk about why they cut so many corners during the development process and why none of their games ever look current. And why they think all of this is okay while they charge full price.

LucasRuinedChildhood7h ago

As much as Bethesda deserve criticism, that's not really relevant to the reveal of Fallout 3 in 2007.

The default angle Kotaku always go for is to highlight the worst in gaming.

I would’ve focused on the creative.
