Can someone please prove to me that there was actually a "new 360 owner" in this article. I see a script where the so called "great journalist" takes cheap shots at MS. So i am to believe that a website with the domain name "the sixth axis" is to be an unbiased site.

or are you hiding something?...Has MS addressed the fact that next to nothing exclusive has been announced for the 360's future right now?...of course some stuff will show up, but there is absolutely no denying that this is out of character for MS...wasn't the 360 the 'now' console, where everything is always coming nearly immediately?...so what is coming this summer?...this fall?...early next year?...so far...nothing...and all this article did was pointed that out...it definitely had some slam to it, but it doesn't change the fact that right now it holds true...

same goes for the DLC thing...are you saying that $50 million on GTAIV DLC was worth it?...Rockstar JUST stated that the game was nearly 50/50 on both platforms, and so far...MS has barely put a dent in that $50 million investment with DLC purchases (which still remain unconfirmed)...again...all this article did was brought up whats all over the wall already...don't get upset if it hits a little closer to home than you would prefer...

You're saying that Mass Effect is better than Valkyria Chronicles? No doubt Mass Effect is great, but VC has been renowned around the web as a fantastic game with great style. Virtually every facet merits nearly a 10 in every review. The gameplay alone is complete slickness and nearly every review scores it a near 10. This time around, VC has consistently produced 9.5-10/10. It has a style all it's own and is Japanese. No other Japanese-style RPG can claim the same this time around. VC has it's own Japanese identity and claims great scores everywhere it's seen. No doubt Mass Effect is good, but I think VC edges it out in terms of gameplay, story, beautiful watercolour graphics and sound. Not to mention VC has a DTS 5.1 audio track.

Gears of War 2 is better than Resistance 2? The two games aren't even in the same genre. A lot of people would put Gears of War against Uncharted which has a lot more in common.

You compare Banjo Kazooie to LittleBigPlanet? Banjo Kazooie appeals to the younger 360 owners for the most part, whereas LBP appeals to all gamers on most levels. I have no doubt that BK is a decent game, but comparing scores, LBP garners an average of at least 9.0 around the web on many sites. I looked up several scores for BK, and it averaged maybe 8.2. Not to mention that LBP is lovable to most gamers. BK mostly appeals to younger 360 gamers, save a few older ones.

The one RPG exclusive besides Valkyria Chronicles that really stands out is Demon's Souls. The game is selling out at many vendors around the web simply because it's that good. I got my game off eBay UK as that was the only source I could get it the day the Asian version released. Now, even 2-3 months later it's STILL selling out at vendors everywhere. So many people like me who have played it cannot recommend it enough as a true hardcore RPG. The 360 has nothing to match Demon's Souls in my own opinion. And the fact that Sony published it means it's not coming to the 360.

Only a select few well known names are worth getting upset about. The big names are all that matters.

Last year, 360 had Too Human, Infinite Undiscovery and a couple other lesser known games as exclusives, but all anyone cared about was Gears 2, Fable 2 and L4D!

Last year, Ps3 had LBP and a few other lesser known games as exclusives, but they never gained the popularity of MGS 4, Resistance 2 and the now popular Killzone 2.

Do you see a pattern here?

Seems like no matter how many exclusives you have, only a select few will actually sell good. If you look at the facts, most people buy the multiplat games more than exclusives!

I will say though, that at this point, I think Ps3 will sell more exclusives this year. Because they have some interesting material that could get alot of attention. I don't think the 360 is in the bad condition alot of fanboys would like to believe, so we'll wait until E3 to find out the truth.

It's not ALL about fanboyism, sometimes it's just about who can articulate their thoughts without getting personal and without being condescending, irrational, unfair or difficult. Personally I can't stand all the PS3 vs 360 stuff but when it's done in a knowing way that pokes fun at the fan boys, surely that's a good thing. Bare in mind that this is a PS3 site that's open to the xbox and not once flaming it without it's tongue in it's cheek.

Half the stuff on N4G truly is flamebait. The worst is the comparison videos. If there's a drastic difference, fine, show us what's wrong in one and better in another, but if the only difference is a couple of textures and a bit of lighting I'll give you a good idea of where you can shove that video. I'll guarantee you most people on both sides of the fence will get the same experience on a different console when it comes to multi plat.

No no no, you guys aren't fanboys, it's the ones that constantly debate that their console of choice is better and such, the ones that do nothing but slam the console they didn't buy. Not everyone can afford both consoles, not everyone wants both consoles, but some of us don't care about who makes what, some of us are just eager to play the best games out there and to really do that, there's no way around it - you need both consoles. Both consoles have plenty of great exclusives and both consoles are worth owning, either separately or together. You really can't go wrong.

I'm in the same boat as you man. I own all 3 and get to play it all that is worth playing, but we are all in someones corner a bit more than the others.

Here's what I mean:

I'd save my PS3. The main reason being is I get my gaming done it. I get my talking with my friends while I play done through my 360. So while I may lost a communication tool my gaming console for gaming still reamins until Sony impliments the long overdue cross game voice chat lol.

PS3 exclusives that I anticipate (or was looking forward to, if they're already out) for the year 2009:

- Killzone 2
- InFamous
- Uncharted 2
- Ratchet & Clank ACIT

Every one of them is definitely a 2009 release.

I'd bet money that White Knight Chronicles comes out this year, too. Heavy Rain MIGHT. Apparantly it was shown quite a lot at Sony Gamer's Day a couple of weeks ago, but the embargo on that particular title hasn't lifted yet. I think there's going to be a huge blow-out and a release date announced for it at E3 this year. God of War 3 is a shoe-in for EARLY 2010 (like Killzone 2 kicked off this year).

So, yes.. the x360 does have some titles to look forward to.

Past exclusives? Okay first off you should have played those up to now. The earth keeps on spinning and so should you by playing games as they come out that are worth the time and money.

As for past exclusives on 360 we have:
Gears2
Halo 3
Dead or Alive 4
Lost Odyssey

That's the 4 that are exclusive to just 360 I can think of people should give a play and while others may exist it isn't stand out titles to say the least. Gears 1 is on PC. Mass Effect is on PC. Tales of Vesperia is headed to PS3. Ninja Gaiden 2 is going to PS3. Splinter Cell is on PC if I'm not mistaken. The pickings are slim as they come for 360 on exclusives that are truly worth your time. 360 rides in on multiplatform games that are great that you can get access to at 199.99 entry level fee.

PS3's exclusive list is big and getting bigger. The day PS3 gets cross game chat then it'll be really hard to defend the 360. For now I want to justify my own purchase of the console to myself too, but it's getting hard since I rarely play games on it anymore and mostly just turn it on for party chat.

This guy in the article says what I quoted above. But, the thing is.. He just bought the x360, if I'm not mistaken, so it's hard to believe that he's bought all the past exclusives, or console exclusives. So, if that's the case, then there should be no worry that the x360 has a short upcoming line-up..

Bottomline..An interview with two or more PS3 f-boys on a Fanblogger site about the Xbox 360 means absolutely nothing. It doesn't matter how many RROD jokes you use. Or how you keep trying to brainwash ANYONE other than PS3 fans that it's exclusives are so superior to the 360s..when the truth is out there.

We've heard all the internet arguments from every fan boy or girl out there. But, it's when you log off the computer is where the reality lies. I talk games with many gamers..I'm a star @ all the local Game Stops.Just because like some of the people here..I love gaming. And yup I love my 360..but I keep it real when I say..just like people bash Xbox 360 on N4G.com..it's how they bash the PS3 offline.

The fun part is that I talk up games like Killzone 2 just to hear the true opinions of the game..but only a few PS3 people I know own it. Everyone talks up Blu Ray..Every one owns Call of Duty: World at War of COD4 and unless they got the bundle..NO ONE talks about Uncharted at all. Online it's the exact opposite..and it's great that people claim to support their system..but I'm on Xbox Live ALL the time and I KNOW Xbox gamers support their system.

Fact: Ask 10 million gamers if they believe Halo 3 was the best exclusive to have on your console this generation. Ask the 8 million people who bought both Gears games if they loved that franchise. I couldn't imagine gaming this generation without Gears, Dead Rising, Ghost Recon, Fable 2, and Mass Effect. The question of what game will make you buy a PS3 comes up all the time..and after MGS4 and K2 failed to win us over..The only true option is 2010s GOW3. And what PS3 fans always fail to understand (even in this article)..gamers on Xbox spend hours and hours on Xbox live playing their favorite games. ONE or TWO exclusives just won't entice us into believing the rhetoric from articles like this. E3 is around the corner..we'll see what EXCLUSIVES rise to the top real soon.

I wrote that article with a guy who has owned an Xbox 360 for two years. I bought mine last week and got Fable 2, Mass Effect and Halo 3 for it. The idea for the article came up because I genuinely wanted to know what exclusives I could get for the 360 and how they were comparable with the PS3 titles I am familiar with.

I don't need you to believe me or agree with me. If it helps your personal agendas to believe that I want the console I've just invested in to fail then so be it. The stupidity of that attitude is blatant for anyone with the sense to see it. The fact is that I spent actual real cash on an Xbox because I wanted one for the exclusives. I also spent (considerably more, damn their price drop policy!) real cash on the PS3. Why would I be biased towards either?

I made jokes about the fact that the Xbox has had a terrible failure rate and the noise and heat issues. They were just jokes (if I was that concerned I wouldn't have spent my own money on the console!) but they were based on fact. If you deny that it fails too often or that it is unacceptably noisy and hot when it spins a disc you're ignoring facts to serve your own personal agenda. I expected Kris to joke about the months the PS3 suffered a low software catalogue, the forced game installs and its stubbornly enormous price but maybe he's just not as funny as me ;)

The point is, they are consoles, I obviously like them both or I wouldn't have spent money on them. Nobody is going to live or die over this and it really is not worth getting worked up over. Go enjoy using the system you're defending by personally insulting another human being - everyone's a winner.
