A title no gamer should ever miss: Maximo

Hovering over the countless array of Madden and Grand Theft Auto titles I carefully perused the selection until my eyes picked apart every spine and price tag. it's a great game but it's hard! I didn't finish both. this game is like ghost & goblins in 3D! everybody knows how hard that game is in 2D!

I never played this one, but the sequel (Army of Zin) was awesome. I'll try this one when I'm bored.

I'm really starting to wish they would release old PS2 games on PSP, that would be another good use of the system.

but a great challenge for any true "hardcore" gamer. Only gripe is sometime the camera was sloppy costing you a life but its still good.

This game is thrilling when you're winning and frustrating when you're losing. Still, in the end, I'd say it's pretty fun.

I still have Maximo Ghosts to Glory for PS2, and played the heck out of the game, but don't have the sequel (Army of Zin) yet.... I remember playing a demo of the sequel, but never picked it up.

This is one franchise that I'd love to see take a jump to PS3/360.

Maximo and it's Army of Zin sequel are 2 of the best 3D hack n slash
platformers available anywhere, would really like to see Capcom continue the series, but it probably won't happen.

... I played them both and was greatly disappointed. I guess it was all the hype surrounding it, like it was the 2nd coming or something. A bad game? No. A great game? No. If you've never played it before, don't go out of your way. It's a love it or hate it game. Buy it used. That way you have 7 days to figure out that it's not that good and get your money back. Chances are you'll figure it out in 2 though.
