"One of the barely mentioned updates to PSN this past Thursday was the Red Faction: Guerrilla demo, which was made available to yearly subscribers of Qore. Seeing as how I happen to be one of those lucky subscribers, I figured I'd go on and try it out. And I'm glad I did.
For those not exactly in the loop, Red Faction: Guerrilla is the third game in Volition's Red Faction series. Unlike the previous two games which were FPS's, this game is shown from a third person perspective so that you have a better sense of what's happening around you. Also, a new feature for the series is open world exploration. In addition to the gunplay, there are also several vehicles for you to command which include, but are not limited to, APCs, jetpacks, and a towering construction mech."

Red Faction was a killer demo and a game that I will be picking up in June. Volition never fails me, not since I fell in love with Red Faction back in the early PS2 days. Great dev!
