NVIDIA 7200 GS - Better Than Nothing

Kotaku.com raised an interesting question in recent news from Nvidia.

"How do you top announcing the world's fastest GPU just a week ago?"

The Answer

"Apparently you take it to the opposite extreme, as NVIDIA announces cards based off of their new 7200 GS processor hitting the market today."

Also, according to Kotaku the graphics card is,

"Priced as low as under $50, the cards are pretty much the perfect solution for people who don't want to settle for onboard video but can't justify spending hundreds on the top of the line cards. In short, better than nothing."

Sounds pretty good.

I think its more safe to wait until Next week with the HD 2800XT releases from ATi which will hopefully start a price war between Nvidia and ATi, since the ATi card apparently is faster than the 8800GTS and also is cheaper. I recently bought a Vista PC, the computer is great but the onboard video card (Nvidia 6160 LE) sucks bigtime. So im looking for an entry level Direct X 10 card so I can play some crysis and Halo 2 vista.

I have an SLI motherboard, but I want to get an ATI card. I'm pretty sure that means I can't use two ATI cards together for Crossfire, but does that mean I can't even use one ATI card either?

This card is probaly just a Geforce 7300GT but with DirectX10. I like my Geforce 7950GT OC 512mb PCI-E DirectX9 graphics card.

I've had ATI with an IBM computer long ago, with an HP not so long ago, and I had ATI with my toshiba laptop, and all were crap. The only product I've had with an nVidia is a PS3 and it's top notch. Hell, most games run better on nVidias anyway. Or at least many of capcom and epic games for PC are supposedly designed with nVidia in mind.

Hell, ATI had to be bought by AMD to keep up. Do yourself a favor and get an nVidia. They have better software and/or drivers anyway.

Edit:
Oh, I've also just remembered I've had three more ATI products. The three of those are Xbox 360s, the first two got the red ring of death. So, it's your choice, ATI or nVidia.

AFK Journey Review: A Rewarding Gacha Experience - ESTNN

Paul G Writes: "AFK Journey is a free open-world, role-playing gacha centered on creating your own team of powerful heroes. Here, you play as the reincarnation of the great mage Merlin, solving a mystery surrounding a malignant corruption.

On its surface, AFK Journey's gorgeous visuals, strategic gameplay and dynamic characters promise a wholly fun experience for new and old players alike. Journey even has a very easy pity system that makes getting rare heroes a breeze.

That said, AFK Journey still presents the usual flaws in big gacha entries, including a lack of accessibility features, bad voice direction and predatory microtransactions."
