Well, my theory is actually that they already have the next 3-4 ones more or less lined up in terms of planning, but that they are still all open for change. They have at least 5 year or more *plans* for WoW, without a doubt...

Tomdc5614d ago

you'd expect so! I mean they have been sitting on this growing pot of gold known as WoW for ages now! I bet they've had enough time to plan the next 50 years of Blizzards future!

martynmj5614d ago

I wonder if there aiming for one next year like they said they'd like to be doing... i doubt it but still it seems like there moving as fast as possible

Leord5614d ago

Actually, I'm pretty sure they are aiming for a "next year" (meaning early 2010), but whether or not they are able to is another thing. I don't think anyone over there are disappointed if they don't do one every 12 months, honestly.

But I'm sure they would like the dough! ;)

Leord5614d ago

Deciding an expansion and releasing is not the same thing, silly =)

Maticus5614d ago

At BlizzCon they insisted they really didn't know what was next, that they were totally focussed on Lich King. I guess they don't hang around at Blizzard ^ ^

Leord5614d ago

I'm pretty sure they just said that to avoid stupid journalists taking the flare away from WotLK until it shipped and stopped selling copies ;)

Good to know that lvling to 80 is already obsolete!! Keep it up Blizz!

Cheeseknight285614d ago

How so? You have to hit 80 to hit 90, and if you don't enjoy doing what you can do at the max level cap, then you shouldn't be playing it at all.

On the other hand, I seriously doubt you actually do play WoW.

Pennywise5614d ago

Well yeah you have to pass 80 to get to 90, but all the time in between grinding for get at 80 is pointless once you hit 81. I played WoW for a long time. I am a reformer and can not get all the time lost back, so I am bitter! lol... dont hate me because I am not a mindless puppet paying blizz 15 a month and wasting all my free time grinding so I can get some other person the gear I need.

Captain_Sony5614d ago (Edited 5614d ago )

Any time spent doing anything is time you cannot get back. thats a pointless and retarded excuse for not liking the game any more. People will not hate you. they may pity you or feel sorry for you but they wont hate you.. After all you seem to think its better to buy a new game for 60.00 then to pay for WoW for another month at 15.00. Anyone who thinks its better to spend more money and it some how makes them better then those that do not is someone I pity.
