The Too Human demo at E3 2006 was met with mixed emotions. While the general feeling was that this title has all the makings of a hit third-person action thriller, the frame rate, among other technical issues, kept it from being considered in the running for Best of Show.
Denis Dyack, president of Silicon Knights, graciously took time out of their busy schedule to answer some questions regarding Too Human's frame rate jiggles, the strength of DVD-9, and rumors involving clearing a roomful of enemies while nary hitting the ground.
The action-RPG by now-defunct Silicon Knights is now free for Xbox gamers! Check out the Too Human free direct download link with armor sets here.
Fun fact: I'm one of five people to have completed Too Human and actually liked it. It should be noted that the other four ended up in mental institutions....sadly.
I liked this game. It has it's flaws but the story and mechanics are pretty good. It still holds up today.
He worked in the game industry since the early ‘90s
Oh sad to say not that familiar with this man's work but RIP to this individual, his music must have been amazing.
Very sad news, I really enjoy the Eternal Darkness and Blood Omen soundtracks, masterpieces.
it was very clear too human was early in development at the show,,,
it will be amazing when complete ,,
silicon knights make very good games ,,,
i feel sory for the fony fans i really do
I really hope they fix it because the screen shots look fantastic and I was really looking forward to this game...till E3 but since I read this, this definetly makes it a little better
The original screens and gameplay notes made me keep an eye out for this game. After seeing actual gameplay footage, it looks pretty boring. I hope I'm wrong.
Silicon Knights pays close attention to what people say, this game will rule and if not i will still pick it up because it has one of the richest story line to date.
I'm putting Too Human on the back-burner for a while. After E3, my anticipation for this game went from a 10!, to about a...2.
I know its too early to judge, since the game's not DONE.
But Gears isn't done. Lost Planet isn't done. And how did they look?
