Which is in some ways sad considering it's also the worst in the series.

King_Noctis1340d ago

Worst in the series? This game score 79% on Metacritic, while Paper Mario Sticker Star score only 75%.

Do we know what we talking about?

averagejoe261340d ago (Edited 1340d ago )

Imagine thinking metacritic decides what games are good or not.

King_Noctis1340d ago (Edited 1340d ago )

“ Imagine thinking metacritic decides what games are good or not.”

So based on your comment, we shouldn’t believe the Metacritic score for games like TLOU Part 2?

Metacritic score seem to only be believable for some games it seems, especially on N4G.

Neonridr1339d ago

@averagejoe26 - imagine pretending like metacritic scores aren't thrown around N4G left and right to defend games always.

Given the reviews I'm waiting for a sale

Skate-AK1340d ago (Edited 1340d ago )

Nintendont do sales.

Tghood851340d ago

Well when there are so few 1st party games, consumers are willing to buy regardless of reviews.

Vegamyster1340d ago

It wasn't reviewed poorly though, unless a 79 is considered bad now lol.

RpgSama1340d ago

A 79 for a Nintendo game is like a 68 for other publishers, unfortunately Nintendo games are reviewed under different standards.

Vegamyster1340d ago (Edited 1340d ago )

He implied the game reviewed poorly, whatever bias you think every single reviewer holds isn't relevant to the argument he made because i doubt the average consumer uses sites like that when purchasing a game.

King_Noctis1340d ago

This year they had:

Tokyo Mirage Session FE
Animal Crossing New Horizon
Xenoblade DE
Clubhouse Game
Paper Mario

Sony only have two first party games. So how is it “so few”?

RpgSama1340d ago

On top of TLOU2 AND GoT, Dreams, MLB and Iron Man VR say hello,

But I mean, whatever.

King_Noctis1340d ago (Edited 1340d ago )

“ On top of TLOU2 AND GoT, Dreams, MLB and Iron Man VR say hello, ”

You’re right, I missed those 3 games (although Iron Man is not first party). But it is basically the same amount as the Switch. So how is it “so few”?

averagejoe261340d ago

It's crazy how your fanboyism shines through basically every comment you make.

Not sure if you're intentionally lying or just uneducated on the subject.

King_Noctis1340d ago

“ It's crazy how your fanboyism shines through basically every comment you make. ”

Which point in my comment is “fanboysim”? Please point that out.

Gameseeker_Frampt1340d ago

@King_Noctis

"Sony only have two first party games."

Everyone knows that you are just another annoying fanboy but sure, let's play this game:

-Tokyo Mirage Sessions FE and Paper Mario are not first party games
-Xenoblade DE is a Wii port and Clubhouse Games is just a collection of historic board games
-Sony first party games so far in 2020 are Dreams, MLB the Show 20, The Last of Us Part 2, and Ghost of Tsushima, with more releasing at the end of the year for the PS5 launch (that's more first party games released in the last 6 months than Nintendo released for the 15 months before the launch of the Switch)

King_Noctis1340d ago (Edited 1340d ago )

@gameseeker

How does that change the fact that Nintendo has released 5 games so far this year? If you're gonna nitpick everything I can also say that MLB is a yearly fatigued franchise and Iron Man is not for everyone, as it is only VR.

"Tokyo Mirage Sessions FE and Paper Mario are not first party games"

Paper Mario is Nintendo's in house franchise, and it was developed by Intelligent System, a company that had NEVER developed a game on any other system beside Nintendo. Tokyo Mirage Session is published by Nintendo, which mean they own the franchise entirely.

"Clubhouse Games is just a collection of historic board games"

A collection of "historic" board game that sold more than 1 million copies? Color me suprise.

Seriously though, before calling someone else a fanboy, try looking into a mirror first.

Gameseeker_Frampt1340d ago (Edited 1340d ago )

@King_Noctis

"Paper Mario is Nintendo's in house franchise, and it was developed by Intelligent System, a company that had NEVER developed a game on any other system beside Nintendo. Tokyo Mirage Session is published by Nintendo, which mean they own the franchise entirely."

None of that makes it a first party game. You are the one that brought up first party games and then go an include games not developed by Nintendo but published by them as first party. If that is the case, Iron Man VR and Nioh 2 count as first party games in your book. Owning a franchise has nothing to do with whether a game is first party or not. If that was the case, Bloodborne is a first party game and Ratchet & Clank have always been first party games.

"A collection of "historic" board game that sold more than 1 million copies" That is how much MLB The Show sells each year yet you call that a "yearly fatigued franchise." Basically, to fanboys like you sales only matter whenever it suits whatever agenda you are trying to push.

Try to spin it however you like, but Nintendo has only released 1 new first party game this year just like they only released 1 new first party game last year. Your fanboyism couldn't stand anyone saying correctly that there are few first party Nintendo games released this year so you had to pad their list and then bring Sony into this (because that is what fanboys do) and then lie about the first party games Sony released this year.

King_Noctis1339d ago (Edited 1339d ago )

"None of that makes it a first party game. You are the one that brought up first party games"

Wait a minute, I did not bring that up. The OP is the one that pointed this out. And now suddenly only a first party title is counted as exclusive? You people change its meaning almost everyday. Nintendo had always contracted outside companies to make games, they don't own many first party studios just for the "first party" di*k measuring contest that both Sony and MS are doing. So first party or not, those are still their games and their IPs. And it still doesn't change the damn fact that they had released 5 games so far and will continue to do so as 2020 progresses.

Before you keep calling someone else a fanboy, like I said, look in the mirror first. Or better yet, go through your own comment history first.

Gameseeker_Frampt1339d ago

@King_Noctis

"Wait a minute, I did not bring that up. The OP is the one that pointed this out."

My apologies for not being clear enough with my point. It seems I should of said "you are the one who brought up specific first party games" since you are the one who made a list of first party games and then included games not developed by Nintendo. I'm sorry for confusing you.

First party games have always referred to games developed by a console maker. Now even Nintendo fanboys know this and while they try to blur the lines when the game is good, they become experts on it when the game is bad. Anyone trying to use Star Fox 0, Metroid Other M, Yoshi's New Island, Metroid Prime: Federation Force, Chibi-Robo! Zip Lash (or any of the other derivative Nintendo 3DS games) as examples of bad first party Nintendo games will instantly be told that they don't count because Nintendo didn't make them.

Please, share some of the fanboy comments I have made in the past. Not putting up with Nintendo fanboys or Nintendo's anti-consumer business practices doesn't make one a fanboy. Something that does is being unable to accept any criticism of one's favorite console and brings up a competitor to try to deflect - like you did right here.
