NZGamer writes: "When Mass Effect was released gamers rejoiced, as the brilliant minds at BioWare had pushed out a title that satisfied almost every western-RPG lover in the industry. We were given a ship, a crew, and a mission that took place all within the vastness of space. NPC interaction was nailed on the head with fantastic facial animations and a speech tree that branched out to many possibilities. However, it was only ever released on the Xbox 360 – leaving gamers from the PC and PS3 areas to wander elsewhere for a good space-faring experience. But gamers can rejoice once again - Mass Effect is now on the flexible platform of the PC.
Players start out just like the 360 version – by creating a custom character (limited only by his last name) or simply selecting a pre-made one. Not only are facial features definable but the history and class of your character as well. The multiple classes to choose from basically combine three things: Biotics, Engineering, and Combat. Players can either focus on one or two of these skills creating such classes as 'Infiltrators' who use a combination of Biotics and Engineering in order to get the job done."
Thanks to their innovative approach to gaming, RPGs like Dark Souls, Final Fantasy VII, and Dragon Quest left a significant impact on the genre.
ES3 set things off, it's a shame they got greedy and decided to cut corners so the executives could get huge pay days.
GF365: "A friend makes the adventure all the more fun. Here are the best video game companions that will keep you company."
The Mass Effect N7 Day teaser has already been decoded, and it features Liara T'Soni talking about The Council, and The Geth can be heard too.
Better not bring back Shepherd from the dead with some half assed space magic.
@snowb420.
Yeah I saw that at the end of my play through as well. I think they will bring Shepard back….. or at least a mutant version turned villain. Lol
Good gawd could this site be anymore blatant and lame towards the ps3. Siren 7.0, Mgs4 8.5 -- Mass Effect 9.0?
Please, Mass effect is riddled with bugs out the ass. Maybe it's a 7.0 and mgs4 is a 9.0 but not the otherway around for damn sure. I'm glad they're not apart of the meta.
So they're saying that ASS Effect is better than the best game of the decade?
whatever NZGamer! you should just say that you're 360 gamer! go to hell!!
