Interesting enough its not as high as some people expected, its in the average and even slightly lower than some other games

mbmonk5810d ago

Can someone tell me what "pre Windows Vista" means. Typo?

d3M0N5810d ago

Yay, sorry... translation typo

Atomic5810d ago

The PC market is still lucrative ? this game is gonna be pirated as hell !

Charmers5810d ago

I disagree with you for what you said about PC users pirating this game. I have every confidence that PC users will not pirate this game, they simply won't even want to waste the bandwidth on this console rubbish. I really do not know what Capcom are thinking about bringing this to the PC I cannot see any market for this game on the PC whatsoever. Just remember it won't be piracy that kills this game it will be a general lack of interest in this kind of genre on the PC. I know I have no plans to pirate the game, but then I have no plans to buy it either.

Atomic5810d ago (Edited 5810d ago )

i disagree with you too , because your whole post is just speculation !
Capcom is not stupid , they're not wasting money on porting this game to PC just for the heck of it , they know that there is a demand for this kind of games among PC users .
and please , there are hundreds of millions of PC owners around the glob , so i'm positive that at least %0.5 of those owners would be interested in playing this game.

Charmers5810d ago

lol well I guess we will see what we shall see. I personally wish they would keep this rubbish off the PC. I have no doubt we will see dozens of stories blaming "piracy" on lack of DMC4 sales on the PC when in reality it will be due to no PC gamer actually CARING about the game.

Charlie26885810d ago

The PC market is as lucrative as you make it be...just ask Stardock also look for there stance on piracy and copy protection and what is really hurting the PC gaming industry beyond the usual scapegoat many companies use you will be surprised

Atomic5810d ago (Edited 5810d ago )

your particular dislike for this kind of games doesn't mean it's rubbish! it's just a matter of personal preference.
and it's time to have a different kind of games on PC outside of FPSs , MMOs ,and strategy games .

Gorgon5810d ago (Edited 5810d ago )

Although Charmers has this childish sense of superiority regarding PC gaming vs console gaming, he is right in the sense that this type of game won't sell a dime on the PC. And seying its a Capcom game, the port will also probably be as bad as RE4's port for the pc was, in which we would get quick events on the PC with PS3 buttons flashing on the screen and it didn't even support a mouse.

Guys just wanted to confirm that Mass effect is coming to PS3 too

I will get the preview codes at the beginning of June

I will post the images on June 5th ,2008.

I was the first to confirm that Bioshock was coming to PS3. No one listened to me. I tested a preview code of Bioshock in March, 2008

SPOILER for Mass effect :- almost no loading on the PS3 version. I will post the images on June 5th,2008. It is illegal for a game tester to leak out images but i will do it

ANOTHER MEGA SURPRISE :- Crysis is coming to PS3. The graphics are on par with a semi-high mid ranged PC

Both the games will be out this Fall ( november and december)

Bless the adorably all digital future! When it comes to PC games its not as big of an issue because there should always be another way to access single player games, but still, I hate to see anything get delisted.

Aaroncls776d ago

Well, DMC4 special edition has a lot of issues to run from Steam.
I have to get a modded executable to even be able to run the game on Windows 10.
Not sure if it is because the game runs in DirectX10 or what, but it sucks they have not even tried to fix it.

Sephiroushin75d ago (Edited 75d ago )

DMC4 Special Edition is not delisted, it was just the standard version, it has nothing to do with issues of performance or anything alike. Its just that Capcom probably do not want to sell the standard version, neither the standalone DMC3 version.

Devil May Cry 4 - 15 Years of Nero

Devil May Cry 4 launched 15 years ago today, bringing with it new character Nero. Has it stood the test of time?

Knushwood Butt435d ago

Never liked it and I think I got it day 1.

Cheap Capcom design of half a game that you have to walk through twice.

5 isn't much different in that department. Encounter the same boss three times with three different characters? Endless warehouses or alien-like tunnels that all look the same.

chrisx435d ago

In DMC 5, it's 4 times you encounter the same bosses if you count the Vergil dlc lol

Knushwood Butt435d ago

Yeah, I'm only up to chapter 19 so the total count can only go up!

kevco33435d ago

No troll, I always preferred DMC.

No haters, please.

Knushwood Butt435d ago

I'm actually with you there, but DMC has that terrible writing. Alex Garland isn't it?

FallenAngel1984435d ago

Nero will always stand the rest of time against Donte and Viola

Dante's inferno... an excellent GoW inspired game. So sad the sequels will never be.

LoveSpuds544d ago (Edited 544d ago )

I recall enjoying it well enough at the time, but it wasn't a patch on God of War 3 which came out around the same time I think.

I own it and fired it up on my PS3 about 6 months ago and time hadn't been particularly kind to it although it still very much nailed the atmosphere and it is a cool as he'll setting and universe.

Inverno544d ago

Dante's Inferno needs the GOW treatment. No cut camera, with a real hellish depiction of the 9 circles and a story as dark and as serious would be amazing.

Yui_Suzumiya544d ago

Still pretty amazing there was a PSP version that was actually pretty good. I remember playing it 10 years ago. I had the PS3 version when it first came out and loved it.

Hellcat2020544d ago

Ahh the memories of playing Heavenly Sword
Such a amazing experience

LoveSpuds544d ago

Yup, I remember being blown away with Heavenly Sword. I remember holding out hope that they would go back and add trophy support as a incentive to go back and replay the game, but I don't think they ever did?

Yui_Suzumiya544d ago

I couldn't beat the final boss though! Spent several days trying but eventually gave up, lol. Still enjoyed it though.

refocusedman544d ago

heavenly sword was such a short, but amazing game. that game should be prime material to be made into a download only remaster.

YoungKingDoran544d ago

I really enjoyed Castlevania, but struggled to get into it again reattempting it a few years back. I still think it does another of things well; story, presentation, level varietily and art style at least. Gameplay maybe has not stood test of time unfortunately which makes it a chore to get through.
